I've decided not to go with the Marine Corps. If I really crave that Brotherhood when I get out in four years, I can always reenlist in the Marine Corps, although it would be more complicated than doing it now. 22 is a ripe age for doing 18 pull ups, 100 sit ups, 100 push ups and running three miles in less than 25 minutes, right?

Right on, man. I've already made my decision to do Army ROTC, I'm still trying to decide which branch to choose though. I've pretty much narrowed it down to Ordinance, Infantry, Armor, CBRN, or Engineering.

CBRN is bad ass, man. I've got like six Gas Masks and two sets of MOPP suits. I probably know more about CBRN (foreign and US) gear than a lot of people in that field

But armor is pretty cool too. Seriously, I hate thinking about the army or the marines, because I get overwhelmed with cool things I'd want to do.

CBRN or Ordinance.

Anyways, once I complete my obligatory university courses (general science, Physics, Biology and psychology) to be eligible for officership, I will apply for JTF2. Probably not going to make it because there are 600 ish of them in a Nation of 3,500,000 people, but whatever, worth a shot

YKTSFW you're 20 and people regularly tell you that you look like you're 17ish/18

How is 600: 3,500,000 a 1:5 chance?

And our armed forces have more applicants than they have budget to hire, so they pick and choose the best troops. Our regular army soldiers also go through Ranger and marine training, you know.

On the JTF2 website they say 2 out of 10 applicants are accepted.

Didnt about the Ranger and marine training, and I knew about budget issues, seems my chances are slim, oh well...

By the way did you read We were invincible? Written by an ex-JTF2 member, quite interesting.

I had heard about it.

And do you really think that sup-par soldiers would even apply? And that everyone who is accepted makes it through training?

The chances would be much slimmer in reality.

Forget where I read about the Ranger training, and I'm not about to look it up at 1:40 in the morning, but the marine thing was on a wikipedia page that was talking about why Canada has no marine corps.

Semi-related, the ISSP is coming along faster

I know that they wont take sub par, however I heard that the money constrains would affect veterans and people already engaged rather than the recruits.

when you just cant seem to remember every rule for the tau and you need to keep using your codex

I recommend Fenris grey, then dry brush shadow grey, then highlight SW grey.

Either way I already had all those colour because my tau army is Sa'cea IMHO all the GW official colour schemes other than Sa'cea look awful, and I can't bring myself to risk a model with an experimental colour scheme.

i take t'au sept they dont look horrible if you put some time into them and highlighting i know it is a little embarrising but i still need to get some help on how to do that

Mostly just i know the rules for tau enough to play but i always get different toughnesses from other factions. And just when i want to shoot some DA player says he got some special rule and i cant hit him though. When my fire warriors want to shoot at space marines and then i realise that their toughness was higher than i thought. Then boom 4+ to hit 4+ to wound 3+ save then its just gakking impossible.
