US/CAN/RoW without Hubs: Other than the Company Store Retailer orders, Wave 1 and 2 are complete, or in final packaging. We should have an update for you soon about Wave 3..
If you are from the above regions and have not received your shipment, please check Backerkit for any outstanding balance. Over 1,500 backers have not finalized their pledges, and about ¼ of the messages we have received asking for the status of their orders show they have not completed their pledge or paid shipping yet.
UK: Shipments continue
EU: Still processing through Customs – hoping to have more news for next week’s update. We are actively working to get the shipment through as soon as possible.
Asia: Packaging continues.
AUS: Short stock shipment still in transit
Note that retailer shipments and exclusivity dates will continue to be pushed based on fulfillment completion.
Other Updates
Here are a few updates for you about some of our outstanding projects:
Lostech Orders
Of the 200ish backers that were missed, 58 of them were US, CAN or RoW without Hubs. We will be fulfilling those directly from our own warehouse as soon as the QML stock arrives. For the rest of the world, those orders are being sent directly to the hubs to fulfill with the rest of their shipments.
Damages
If your shipment items were damaged in transit or you believe you are missing a package/shipment, please contact QML as they will be handling the replacements at the end of fulfillment.. Here is the link: https://www.qmlogistics.com/contactUs.html
Defectives
If an item in your shipment was defective in some way, such as a manufacturing error, please contact us at tbuckner@catalystgamelabs.com and include a photo of the defective product in your first email.

Subject: BattleTech 'Mercenaries' Kickstarter - THIS WEEK'S UPDATE (UPDATE #110)
In an attempt to displace some frustration I googled GamesQuest. Their UK warehouse looks to be down near Portsmouth, and their EU logistics partner seems to be in Griesheim near Frankfurt am Main. This is unlikely to be that useful, but thought I would share anyway

News
-There’s an end of year sale on the CGL webstore, running until 2nd January. Anything ordered now will probably not arrive by Christmas. 25% off your total order if you spend $50 or more
-Don’t forget to join the webstore mailing list!
-December releases
--McCarron’s Armoured Cavalry is out at retail in Barnes & Noble now. Exclusivity period is 6 months
--Shrapnel 19
--A Night in the Woods, a novella by Michael Stackpole about the Kell Hounds Death Kangaroos
-No Tuesday Newsday for the next two weeks.
-There were 300 Mercenaries backers in Asia
--All orders are packaged at the distributor.
--After this all orders for a specific location will be loaded onto a container, which ships out to the location when it is full
--Once the container ships, local partners will pick up the packages and ship to the backers.
--This means that from a logistical perspective Asia is complete, even though it’s going to be some time before the actual shipping will happen
-Randall noted that he’s a very ambitious person, but even then he didn’t realise how huge an endeavour the World Tour was going to be.
-He described it as Glorious, Amazing and it beat the living crap out of him
-He determined the areas or regions he would attend by picking a con he was going to attend, and then figure out locations he could visit. He liaised with Alliance to find stores that were the biggest sellers, mapped them out, and then went to the Demo Team to see what locations had really good support.
-Randall had stories about different stops on the trip, shouted out locations and shops and cons, I’d say you’re better off listening to this section instead of reading a recap
-They talked about the Freddie Prinze Jr stuff

This is pure bs, i could have used a dropship comapny, or bother a US friend to forward me the KS faster, and probably cheaper than Catalyst..
Unfortunately my CC company already send them the money because I'd love to tell them that from a banking prespective I already paid them, even though it's going to be some time before the actual payment.

So cute the way Catalyst is passing the hot potato to Quartermaster. "We delivered our part, if your pledge shows up late, broken, missing pieces, or got lost in the warp it's all their fault, go bug them."

The poor guy is venting. Now is not the time for “akchewally!”
Saying that the Asia fulfilment is done is blatantly not true, to add to all the other lies that CGL have spurted all over this fulfilment.

I am being dishonest why again? Because if my pledge shows up in Summer 2025 that could be considered late, right? Or is it because the arcane way Asia delivers things, as Rem explained, there is never a late delivery?
I guess that because you got your pledge without the levels of farce we, Non-NA backers, are suffering everything is right under the sun for you, and any complains are "dishonest".
I gave a lot of money to Catalyst in exchange for a product. If things are not as expected they are responsible of the fulfillment of their end of the deal, passing the hot potato to a 3rd party saying they have all the stock is not how things work. If you have a maintenance issue in an apartment you rent, do you complain to the plumber or call the owner and ask it fixed? Same here.

More paint schemes are good, especially the more obscure factions.

Here's a question - do people tend to go for a paint scheme they like first, or figure out which faction they like the background for and go with that scheme?
I may be experiencing a little paint scheme paralysis when it comes to Battletech at the moment...

Normally I'll look for a faction I like and go with that. The colour of the faction is a factor in the consideration however and not a small one at that, but if I would see a super cool paint scheme I like of a faction with horrible background, I would just alter it slightly and go with it for a homemade faction anyway.
Playing mostly Necromunda and Battletech, Malifaux is awesome too!

It depends on the person.
It's also not all that terribly important. A lot of units go to battle in appropriate camouflage, even if they have a parade color scheme. And then it's always worth remembering MechWarriors are very individualistic and it's not unheard of for them to customize their 'mech even in military units.
For example: Sorenson's Sabres, a company of the 5th Sword of Light Regiment - a unit famous for it's draconian discipline and all-red color scheme even in battle, features only FOUR 'mechs in the standard Sword of Light livery - and one of those is listed as in 'desperate need of a paint job'. The other six, plus the LAM and aerospace fighter, all feature non-standard coloration.
Then there's the 17th Recon Regiment - Camacho's Caballeros. There is no standard paint scheme for the regiment, every 'mech is painted however the pilot wants it.
In short, it's not all that important. If you have an idea, odds are somewhere in the thousands of 'mechs in the BattleTech universe there's a Mechwarrior who did it. So go for it. Do whatever you want.

I kid, I kid.. but those ARE paint schemes I know by heart..
If that's what floats your boat, go for it. There are plenty of merc units out there, and some of them become quasi-House units over time (McCarron's Armored Cavalry, for example). And as I pointed out, even in elite House units paint schemes are not enforced, or are even enforceable.

-Two weeks after that the guest will be Bryan Young, author of Voidbreaker.
Q&A:
-Is there a plan to cover stock shortages and damaged stock for the remaining Mercs fulfillment? This was attempted to be planned for - they ordered 115% of the stock in the first place but the issues with production caused an issue of course. It’s very different to get a running inventory during fulfillment, so when a region completes fulfillment they’ll do an inventory and any excess will be transferred if there are issues in other regions, either direct from hub to hub or back to CGL who will handle it centrally
-Will the Mercs box be available to ship outside the US? If yes how does that square with CGL’s plans to release in regions one by one? This was explained in part in a backer update, the delays for regions obviously weren’t part of the initial plan but they need to help out their retailers. They can’t shut off international shipping on the webstore but given the high shipping cost issues on the store they feel it’ll discourage people ordering. They’re planning to hold to international street dates, keeping as best as they can to the spirit of their promise.
-Who do you contact if you received a package from the CGL webstore that was missing an item? Email Store@catalystgamelabs.com, and if you have emailed them already check your spam filter, they have issues with email that are being worked on.
-Whatever happened to the City/Lunar BFM? Rem couldn’t find it on the product schedule quickly, she’ll check it out. The last she saw it was due for release in September.
Rem mentioned that there was an update due for today, and she was waiting for one more piece of "very important and exciting information" which apparemtly hasn't come yet.

According to Sarna.net it stands for Battalion Forces Mat. Where the normal BattleMats are 34” x 22”, the massive BFM measures 72” x 48" and incorporates eight maps per side and is largely intended for convention play.

This doesn't look good. The way I'm reading it is that it might only concern people that ordered the ancilliary merch, but still not knowing if you are going to have enough to cover damaged or missing stock is bad.
