Nope, just Dakka mangling my link. Try it now. At present, all you'll get will be the splash page and the Baneblade preview.

Nothing on the UK Apocalypse site yet but the following is posted at the German Apocalypse site:

Hinweis: Leider ist uns ein Fehler unterlaufen, als wir den Veröffentlichungstag
für die Apoklaypse-Webseite mit dem 27. August angaben. Die Website zu Apokalypse geht am 27. September online. In wenigen Tagen jedoch, wirst du hier eine Vorschau finden.

According to Babelfish, that translates as follows:

Note: Unfortunately is us an error occur, when we indicated the day of publication for the Apoklaypse web page as 27 August. The Website to Apokalypse goes on 27 September on-line. In few days however, you will find a preview here.

Looks like we may be in for a long wait...

Lets you peek around quite a bit, but there's still some unfinished sections. US and UK don't seem to let you in yet though.

One thing at least is that we get a nice look at exactly how diverse Chaos Spawn can be (check out the "Tide Of Spawn" box). OK, they suck rules-wise, but they do all look fairly individual.

This morning the Canadian site had a ton of Apoc content for about an half an hour. Now it's all gone, but I'm going through my cache to see what I still have.

I got this out of my internet cache so far.

Games of Warhammer 40,000 under the Apocalpse Expansion are huge! The minimum size is 3,000 points per side, and it goes up from there to as many models as you can fit on a table without it collapsing under their weight.
The size of such an undertaking might be a little intimidating to even the most veteran of hobbyists. Rest assured that there are a lot of different ways to gather forces at the Apocalypse scale. Read on to get ideas on how you can "Apocalycize" your army.

Collecting an Apocalypse-scale force of your own can take a little time regardless of whether it's heavy on vehicles, troops, or a mix of both. However, you can start playing Apocalypse right away if you team up your standard 1,500-point force with another player's army of similar size. This allied approach works well under the Apocalypse expansion. Since the battlefields are so vast, it helps having more than one commander per side. Plus, the expansion book lays out a few guidelines for you as you ally your forces, including an Allies Matrix chart that allows you to team up in a way that's appropriate to the Warhammer 40,000 background (e.g., no Space Marine-Tyranid armies, unless your house rules say otherwise). If you look closely at the picture above, you'll see that this army is a mix of Witch Hunters, Space Marines, and Eldar Harlequins. Of course, if you're the kind of avid hobbyist who has more than one 40K army, you can mix them up to get the 3,000 points you'll need for Apocalypse without another player's help. One really cool side effect of the Allies Matrix is that it allows players to try out units from armies other than the one they already have. For example, let's say you're an Imperial Guard player with a collection of about 2,000 points. You've always been interested in Tau, but you haven't been able to start a whole new 40K army for them. Now, with Apocalypse, you can take your 2,000 points of Imperial Guard, acquire 1,000 points of Tau, and you'll have an Apocalypse-scale force (and you're on your way to building a regular 40K force of Tau). That's not a bad way to start a new army while still playing games with it.

As much as I hate to buy GW basing material, I'm getting one of those kits. That is, if the price is right.

I was checking out the imperial guard company, 36 special weapons seemed like a lot so I emailed GW and the guy said it's a missprint, it actually comes with 12 metal special weapon guys.. i guess maybe 6 of each? Still a decent deal though. I think I got enough guardsmen right now at around 70-80 so it won't take me much to build up to the 120 I'd need for that formation if I wanna try it. I think I'm more interested in the ogryn auxilia out of all the guard stuff they listed.

And yeah that basing kit looks sweet too. I got the hero basing kit a while ago, had some nice stuff in it

alright i know i'm new and that means one dumb question right?
well so what happened to the beaky veteran marine with chainsword and bolter?
i don't see any randomly picked marine in the veteran boxset, so does that mean we saw a mini
that will be unreleased or is it a random mini that you will get?

Ho ho ho!

Well, only homos play orks, everyone knows that.

Besides, there are only four species:

Human - IG, SM, =][=, CSM

Elf - Black and White

Ork - lame army for the Sir Whine-A-Lots

Tyranids - Orks with 6 arms.

Necrons aren't a species - they are a race, big difference (science for the win).  Tau are commies and don't count.

Hey GW! About your brass-etched components in the basing kit. You probably designed the brass sprue in some sort of CAD program, which is wonderful because CAD programs often have a "create gear" tool that allows you to draw gears! You should find this tool and use it. It's faster and easier than creating a circle and adding a radial array of squares. More importantly, the results actually look like a gear.

Also- please be noting that a curved blade on the end of a pole is not a scythe. It is a badly made pick.
