The extent of the conversion can be seen in the "before" shot. Never totally hacked apart a figure before... then reassambled parts of it with other bits, then GSd the missing pieces. Oy! Lot o work.

I painted a good deal of fellows in this pattern, and as much as i loved the infinity snake emblem, I never could come up with a good name for the Chapter

Sorry for the less than perfect camera work, still havent quite figured out the perfect balance.

Lack of sleep inspired Chaplain for my Iron Hands sucessor Chapter, the Ebon Gauntlets.

I built him in a flurrry of activity last night. Very proud of him. The pics wash out the detailing on his face for some reason.

This is my best conversion so far. It's rather subtle, but since everybody keeps telling me that they can't figure out which model I used as a base, I think it can't be that simple after all.

I like that winged chappy dude!

JB: I like the concept of a free Shrike roaming through the treetops of the jungle. I'm not sure that I like the idea of a real Shrike sitting on my couch eating my Skittles.
