Looks like a Mars pattern. I will prefer to wait for a Reaver from the Lucius forgeworld. I dont like Mars pattern 'hoodies'.

The Apocalypse Launcher rolls five dice and applies them to the clover shaped template. Its the only single weapon that definately uses it, in all other cases its a matter of choice for combined barrages. This template has five standard 5" pie plates, the outer four numbered 1-4, the center one numbered 5&6. Each hit is counted as a seperate baslisk attack. Generally speaking you will get a neat squareish hole in your opponents battlelines 12" accross once this weapon has spoken. IIRC you also get to reroll the initial scatter, cant remember.

I dont know what the lasers do.

Seems to lack the ornamentation of the Warhound - probably WIP? As was said, probably a Mars-pattern, and while I prefer the Mars-pattern Warhound, I want to see a Lucius Reaver before buying any.

Something I found interesting is the "hoodie" which appears to possibly be articlulated. Years ago, DreamForge's previous incarnation was selling on eBay a Warhound sized titan which resembled an Epic Imperial Knight called "Gabriel". I have one and it's got very similar head-to-neck construction. Of course GW wasted no time in shutting down those auctions...

IA6 - Nurgle/Khorne SM's Mark is doing a Brass Scorpion that will be based on 2 x Defiler kits with Resin parts. Tony wouldn't be drawn on Ad Mech in IA6 too much we'll be seeing the Reaver and possibly some more stuff. IA7 sounds fun where expansion of ad Mech was mentioned as a possibility and Dark Mechanicus. Mark Beford is soon starting work on a Chaos version of the Reaver.

That missile pack on the top isn't doing it for me though. I think it would look better if looked more like it was part of the titan, not just a tack-on.

I think what bugs me about this Reaver is the head - or rather, how far it sticks out as compared to the old MKI Epic Reaver. If I buy one, I'm definitely going to set the head farther back under the carapace:

Agreed. My big question is why is the cockpit so cramped compared to the smaller Warhound?

There should be a crew of four in the head for a Reaver. Princeps and three Moderati. Maybe carapace moderati are inside the carapace weapons instead.

Reavers aren't actually that large compared to the different variants of Warlord. They are more of fast attack skirmishers still. At least I believe they were described as such in Adeptus Titanicus.

I think if the shoulders were wider it would look a lot beefier.

It does look cool though.

I never did like the rocket launcher.... its too....2nd ed for my tastes.

But other than that, not bad. It has potential, though I was hoping for more of an update like the did with the warhound. The new warhound design is alot better than the previous designs.

Now they better build a god damned phantom titan in a couple years. The armorcast one looks hideously outdated next to the forgeworld design.

I like it how it is, because it looks swappable. Even in the Fluff, the AdMech Titan Legions customize their machines before a battle, don't they? I can just about imagine a building-sized monster crane nabbing that rocket pack off and bolting a plasma destructor in its stead.

Ha, the best bit about the rea ver was that for most of the day there was a guy there who couldn't get away because people kept asking him to turn it round, next year they'll presumably invest in a rotating turntable.

and yes back in the day Titan's would change weapons like my girlfriend changes her shoes. In Final Liberation there was a great cinematic of a warlord doing it.

Me, there's two things that bug me, first, that missile pod is way too big, I just don't like it. Second, I don't think it's that big. It's slightly bigger then the warhoud, but if you take the missile pod off, it's not that much bigger. Other then that, I love the look of it.

I spy a Tau Tiger Shark drone controler at the bottom of those pics. Tau need some fast ships if they're going to be competitive at all.

For those of us who think the head sticks out too far, notice the AdMech gear shape on the cowl - it's only half visible which leads me to believe that the cowl slides forward to protect the head.
