Down toward the bottom.  Creater calls it a tinboy.  This model has impressed me greatley.  I wish I had that kind of talent.  I recognize the feet as metal broadside feet, torso looks like a plastic oil drum, shoulder pads and crotch pad are ork shoulderplates, backpack is from a killa kan, gun looks like a few shootas cut up and put together.  The chest plate is what looks to be cut and nicely shaped plasticard.  Does anyone recognize the head, I see it all over for mega armor conversions but never see it on the bits catalog.  Also the legs look like cut and trimmed space marine dreadnought legs?  No clue on the arms or claw either.  Anyone know how to contact the creator? I sure would like to get his advice on a mega armoed cybork warboss I am working on.

Edit: Looking closer I think the power klaw is just a standard nob power claw converted a bit with the arm chopped off to mount it to whatever its mounted to.  Still no clue on the shoulders/helmet though.

Yeah, that looks mad-nice. he did a *gak* job on the base, but otherwise that is a bomb-ass conversion! Think the head is an epic gargant head. And actually the backpack is part of the engine from a Warbuggy and I think the claw is plasticard with the power plant of the Chainsword-shoppa at the base. Then lotsa plastic tube everywhere else.

Up your nose with a rubber hose.

Good to see ol' Morkzamillyun again in full 360 degree glory. That's the creation of the incredibly talented Tim Wollweber (AKA GrimTeef). He posted his WIP pics a long time ago, but if I remember correctly, nearly all of it including the head was made from plasticard and plastic bitz (the eye is the sight from a shoota for example).

Good Ole GrimTeef.

Not only does he make good orkseses, but he made the emorkicons for Dakka years ago, as well as being able to draw pretty things for everyones favorite animation farm.

Whoa, where'd all this come from then? I would have missed this if not for my buddy Master Exploder alerting me.

I'm glad you like the model, Orock! I've since started using Morkzamilyun as my Warboss, so he's more like a Tinboy with my Warboss's brain inside, but that's just fluff.

As far as how it was construsted, I'll try to write it down as best I can remember. You were on target on a couple things, and off on others... The entire thing is plastic, no metal parts at all. okay then, where to start...

The head: made from a small tank wheel (from a Leman Russ I think) and plasticard. As was mentioned, the eyepiece is from the plastic boyz sprue, along with some plastic bolts and such for the head bolts. The tubes that go under the jar are from the old heavy flamer tank vehicle bit.

The main mass of the body is 2/3 of a plastic barrel, with the other 1/3 becoming the major masses of the shoulders. There's a couple shoota bitz placed up there as well to fill the space. The pelvis parts were from the plastic epic gargant from some time ago, but I think you can use something else for this part. Not sure what though...

The backpack is mostly the warbuggy engine, I think, with a couple shoota bitz added onto the side.

The shoota arm is all plastic boyz shoota parts, as well as a chain choppa part from that same set. Some plasticard and a wheel hub for the elbow joint round it out.

The power klaw is actually all plastic, it's 2 chain choppas filed down on opposite sides and sandwiched around 2 plastic ork knives, shaved down in places to fit. The pistons on that arm are mostly space marine targetting scopes. The rest of the upper arm is shoota bitz, with the elbow joint carved to look like it can slide along the groove there for movement.

The upper legs are shoota bitz as well, and I cannot recall what the piston parts are that are near the groin area. Dang. The lower legs are small tank wheels, like the head, with some plasticard and the plastic warhammer ork shoulder pads as kneepads.

The feet are actually just sprue offcuts with small pieces of plasticard on the bottom of each 'toe' to make them more interesting.

I think that's everything, aside from the crotch plate and shoulder guards that you guessed already.

The base was dressed up a tiny bit since those pictures, it's mostly just nicely painted sand and space wolf armor parts that have been wrecked.

Bron was nice enough to post the link i put up recently to the WIPs of Morkzie, so maybe that will help as well.

Thanks again for the kind words on the models, gents!

Thanks for the response.  I have been building my ork army over the past 5 years slowly due to lack of funds, and I have found that conversions save me a ton of money.  Out of one chaos land raider and some green stuff/plasticard, I have managed to build a battlewagon and 3 seperate vehicles.  I have always wanted to do a warboss in mega armor with a cybork conversion, and I dont like how huge ghaz is.  I thought when I saw your conversion it would be perfect.  Sadly I dont think I can get a few of these parts at the moment due to family emergencies and barely covering the bills.  But thanks for the rundown, if it weren't for the head I could almost put most of that together out of scrap.  Ah well guess Ill have to use an ork nob in mega armor for my warboss till I can get the parts.

Well, just so you know, i you don't like how big Ghaz is, then you may not like the size of the Morkzamilyun pattern cybork here... He's quite a bit bigger than the Ghaz model...

And don't let the head bit slow you down! I'm sure there's something about the right size that you can use. It doesn't have to be that particular bit...

Well I finished him off, the backpack is made up of the remains of a space marine jump pack, a space marine hatch crew torso with bits to cover it, a missle launcher with gun barrel for a smokestack, and a can o gas.  The bottom of the legs I dident have most of your parts, so I cut the jetpack flame ports and put it around, and modeled up some green stuff knees.  The gun arm is the same but has 5 different weapons glued together for rediculousness.  Klaw arm is the same with plasticard joints instead of gw ones.

Shoulders I had to redo completely, Instead of 2 seperate shoulder sections I did one big one in square grooved plasticard, which can bend 45 degrees and not break so it was perfect, also makes a checkers pattern better than I could paint without mapping it out with a ruler and whatnot.  Chestplate and torso plate are same design but with plasticard and nuts from ork choppas cut off and glued on.  Wires I still have to add on when it drys a bit better.  The head was redone, and made of green stuff.  It is my only regret as it still has the look of the original right down to the eyes, but just doesnt have the super smoothe circular shape only possible with machine precision, or a masters molding touch (which I am not sadly)

All in all it turned out great.  He is as tall as a broadside, but just looks so junky it screams ork.  Wish I had a digital camera to show you my work, but I am too poor at the moment to afford one.  If I ever get a spare wheel I will probably redo the head, because I am a perfectionist, but the shoulder difference I can live with, It should add alot to the model come painting time.
