Kim, you cannot distance yourself as if it is nothing to do with you. Daniel was a co-owner of your company, you cannot say 'his debt' when he was your partner, you took on the debt of his reputation and past deeds when you chose to go into business with him. Most especially, since at this point it is quite clear you did not register your company yet and you were selling illegally together, you are part and parcel of the problem. I feel it is fair to say that at this point as you have refused every oppurtunity to disprove that with something you should have sitting next to you in the office. You don't get to viciously defend him and take things personally one moment and then get to act as if you barely know the guy and have nothing more to do with him the next. Either address his history and the responsibility you chose to take on by entering into business with him or shut up with your 'former owner' dog and pony show. You have most definitely known him for years and years, so you know damn well what he did and what it would mean if his name got out. Don't play the babe in the woods routine with me. You want Ken to be Mandelbaum's problem and you only want the credit for it? Here's a hint, don't go into business with a thief and then expect points for it.

Secondly I most definitely do not think this is a joke. I think it is pathetic, and very, very serious. Do you think we watch for Mandelbaum because this is fun? It's not. Fun would be seeing him brought to justice by the authorities for all his crazy bs, lies, aliases and fraud. 'Alleged' of course. That would be fun. No. I have seen nothing to make me believe DM is really gone, I'm sorry. All of this is exactly the same kind of Gak he pulls every time. It's even in the same bloody order. He changed pictures to a bizarre 50 second video this time I suppose, but it's all the same.

We cannot make RF go out of business. If you have clients willing to support you good for you. But the second your bs excuses start, and people start saying their packages are going missing or that they didn't get what they payed for, we will be on you like stink on a monkey don't you doubt it. If that never happens, believe it or not, that isn't a bad thing.

Seeing DM brought to justice for what he as done would be great. But the only thing that we are actually concerned with, the only thing we want and are acting to prevent, is to make sure not one more victim is added to DM's long ledger. If that is all that is accomplished, that is more than enough.

1. Current (State of Texas) business license,Legally required to be physically displayed next to the cash register in a brick and mortar store. (not a Federal Tax ID number)

3. Previous Business License number showing all three owners.

Hey everyone, sorry for the late reply had a long day at the store and car problems after.

I'd just like to take a moment to inform all of you that I will not be posting in this thread for a while.
It is not that I am not interested in seeing justice done and resolving the issue, but that I have no new information to share at this time.
I will say though, if I obtain any information I will share it with the community.
I will still moderate the facebook page and manage posts and content to the site.

I will however be an active user on these forums, namely in the project logs. Expect a log in the next few days.

I doubt that format or information were AJ's idea. Let's not focus on him in regards to processing the video as it sidetracks from the issue that RF's owners cannot answer any question that shows their claims of legitimate and legal business as obligated by Texas law, or prove they went to the HH weekender as they made such a fuss over (and initially tried to bamboozle people into thinking they had for all intents and purposes unlimited Fulgrims guaranteed and trying to pre-sell a product they had no right or way to promise).

THAT video finally moved me to comment. Wow...awesome.there are a few things that really stuck out.
1. the mask - whilst I understand why it's there it doesn't really promote trust.
2. why is there a british flag there in the background.

I can only think that this video is meant as a joke. They couldn't be seriously think that anybody would be satisfied with it.

I was actually trying to keep an open mind about this entire affair - I'm always looking for somewhere I can buy bits, after all, and the on-going, slow and soul-crushing process of converting all of my zealots to counts-as IG infantry requires an awful lot of DKoK lasguns.

After that video, though, there's no possible way I'd ever shop from her store. Anyone who isn't prepared to put their own face next to their product - is so utterly unwilling to be customer-facing - has no understanding of commerce or consumer-relations.

It's a diabolical approach to salespersonship, in the broader sense, as it presents a fait accompli to any potential customer: "If you wish us to sell you our products, you are expected to trust us with your money; we do not trust you with any means by which we, as the proprietors, could be identified".

If you want to run a successful business, you want to be recognised. You want your business's name to be synonymous with your likeness, and you want customers to trust you as an individual. And for them to trust you, you must be willing to bite the bullet and admit, openly, that your good name is tied inextricably to your company's.

This is especially important in comparatively small, community-structure consumer bases - where reputation is the be-all and end-all. But it's equally important for larger endeavours - does Kim think Virgin and it's dozens of spin-outs would have been as successful if Richard Branson had donned Christine Daaé's mask every time the BBC interviewed him?

Now, in the interests of neutrality, I should state that I've no personal experience with the activities of Mr Mandelbaum and, as such, can't in good conscience judge him. I have met others who have gone to such alleged lengths to conceal malfeasance, however, so similarly I don't dismiss the charges levelled against him out of hand.

That being the case, my advice to the new, sole proprietor of RF would be to begin, promptly, an earnest effort to rehabilitate the company's image - prove to customers that you are worth trusting, and that you are willing to bind your personal reputation to your company's success or otherwise. If you're unwilling to do that, you'll hamstring your company's commercial performance - because instead of being described to friends as "the new management - she really turned the company around", you'll be dismissed as "the mad bint with the mask and the birds - don't ask".

On this point however, for those who are concerned about the legitimacy of a business, if a company or group of individuals do not have a tax ID nor have registered their business with the state OR believe information given to a business is being misused, there are steps to take in order to raise concerns.

Namely contacting IRS offices or state departments of commerce and/or business to question the validity of a business. Even without an EIN, in some cases a business must file taxable income or be registered with a state department.

Especially in this case where a person or persons behind a business are shady at best and your concerned about dealing with them (especially if you have ordered from them to which now they hold your information such as address and method of payment), I would be concerned.

We cannot make them go out of business Warone. We have no control over what the IRS or anyone else does with the information. Just like the local police, he may be too small potatoes or the community too niche to bother with.

My point remains, you can't honestly think it is the first time your point was raised lol...

But if a business is questionable in practice and in execution, a person should feel that it is in their best interest to make sure that their information is protected or that the company they deal with is legit.

It could lead to a business going out of business, but the first step is to find out if a business is legit.

Asking/listening to an alleged frauster/masked woman about a legitimate business is probably not productive. So the most reliable source of that information or at least concern about said information is state and federal level.

We waited 4 days for a dress up video about randomness that answered nothing.
