Some steampunkish gear is just plain fun, I remember a few years back I entered a local Ork painting comp and it had to be steampunk in theme.
I did a Steam Dread made from assembly gears from watches and photocopiers and a thomas the tank engine toy oh and the dread kit which
was lead at the time and a pain to work with.
I'd love to see a Steam Titan conversion or a steam punk/ clockwork Hive Tyrant (how the heck???)

more of a knight i had myself in mind for a future project...a titan would currently totally blow my shelf so to speak^^ and i do collect grears whereever i can get them atm^^
A group build just means that a group of forum members sign up to build a subject within the theme. You post pics of WIP and then put images of the completed model in the GB gallery
For a bit of fun there is a poll and winner gets a little prize.
Stoopid here had an idea that seemed like a good one at the time for a Steampunk GB. Trouble is enough people have said okay and signed up Being my idea I have to co host the GB.
TBH my track record in them is poor and have only ever finished twice before the deadline
I have not got a great deal of knowledge about steampunk other than the cool factor! but I will do my best.
No idea yet what I will be doing but may sculpt some minis so I can kill two birds with one stone.

tried once for about three hours to read through my backlog of girl genius but had to stop because my eyes got all runny^^ but this is quite the inspirational comic indeed!
and please get a cam by all means...if all fails get some lousy tourists one^^...just belt him over and your done^^
and about chibi making minis or rather sculpting them...oh hell yeah!
besides will thsi groups psecialize in only tabletop and model sized projects or will they do lifesized stuff too? i saw some wonderful things once i began researching and there is so much potential in the theme... one day i craft me a steampistol for my wall decoration ...one day!
but I will do my best.
