If you're looking for gears, try plastic ones. Toys that buzz or rachet, or have windup bits will generally have a couple gears in them.

Old clocks from car boots are another good source. Plus you get loads of bits to make into scenery and such.

salvaged some of these already from the kids toybox... even the little ones feel very helpful and proud when dad is using some of their toys for my cause^^ sometimes i have to pay them in painted minis tho^^

There is a steam punk Nintendo DS out there somewhere EB Games gave one away with a kids adventure game about 3 years ago.
Might have been either the golden compas DS game or Dr"Somthings" and the mystical village or something like that.

sorry no updates for quite some time still...feel like gak so to say in a nutshell...fever and dizzyness...heads aching and related stuff...wanted to do so many things in the last days but i could come up in a upstanding position for long lest that i would have been able to make hobby work...sorry guys...

As for the barrels, I can swap those with spare gatlers I have from the other APC turrets Add some HK missiles to the Goannas and I am hunting!
