They are mostly Vacu-Formed styrene, (which is why most other reviewers skip them I suppose) so never an easy build, but their injection-molded stuff is top shelf.

hmmm well any other note worthy advice to give a lame terrain builder a leg up?
I was half tempted to buy some gw kits and make a mess with that but im kinda leary and i want to see if i can actually do something i mean my first attempts we ok but i think i need something else in my hive. was thinking a garden of some sort just have no idea how to go about it.

i think i would have to figure out how to make the planters but it might be doable...maybe a dead garden since it is the under hive and all....

Putty work is drying

then sanding...Then Grimdarking will commence.

My eyes are hit or miss, I know.

the putty work is always later on to be used as a means of showing weathering... heck...if you had poked the putty with a brush...then it later on could look like moss....

the main question tho is...what will be staring inside the walls???

Sweet building, Nice thick walls. often look at my walls and think they look skinny. GW walls are even thinner.

Going to have to try and get hold of some of this type of kit.

The only GW terrain I have is the necromunda bulkheads and the bits from starter sets. Thanks! It really does fit well. Finally in the 40k universe. Someone was smart enough to go through the wall instead of a reinforced door

Yep, the ferrocrete is softer than the plasteel doors and the self adjusting stem bolts
