So in the spirit of my earlier thread on plastic we all wish for... what would we buy (or at least think about buying if we didn't have to order from the UK and the dollar was stronger) if forgeworld would only make them.

And before people jump in asking for Imperiator Titans and Inquisitor scale Emperor Class Battleships with fully modeled interiors, keep in mind I am asking for stuff you would actually buy.

For me I see these:

IG staff car, limo - something for those officers to tool around in. No weapons (maybe wing mounted stubbers) but good armor 12 or 13. Make it look like something from the 20s and 30s and I'd buy it.

IG troop truck - I had a funk idea for this a while back, carry 20, armor 10/12/10 open topped. The fluff is it usually drives in convoys with tanks in the front so it only needs side armor but the real idea is park it sideways and use it as a bunker. And I'd just love to see more 40k civilian vehicles.

IG Hummer - fast, open topped, 10/10/10 missile launcher on the roof, carries 5 guys who can hold objectives or use special weapons. An obivious addition.

Nurgle Septic Tank - besides the great pun you get a great foul diseased tank that spews toxic waste on people. What's not to love?

Cannon of Khorne - An old favorite from the Epic Space Marine days these had a special rule that they scattered twice as much as normal because Khorne really doesn't care who gets blown up as long as someone does. Perfect fort Armaggedon!

What else we want?

1) Adeptus Mechanicus squad – hoods, robes, the works.

2) Genestealer cult brood brother upgrade parts, a la the Vraks renegades

3) Genestealer hybrids – properly modelled and gribbly looking

4) Ordinatus engine. (Yeah, alright, it'd be Manta-style pricing... but... but... it's a f**kin' Ordinatus engine!)

5) Crusade-era Space Marine parts.

Chillin' out models like the Krieg squad at ease. Then hopefully we'd get more meta golden demon dioramas of guys going "sometimes I think we're just in a game" smoking it up or playing with epic-scale pieces. INQ-scale chillin' out models would be really cool.

4) building corners/bulkheads - similar to modhiem but for 40K so costs are kept low and you add in your own walls from plastic-card to suit o it's very flexible

5) - small dioramas - would just be cool (depending on price) e.g. horus vs emporer in pre heresy style.

personally I'm in favour of smaller kits (watching the wallet, even though buying in pounds it's still pricy for a lot of the stuff) that can add character without having a single use, so the gothicy bits could be used on guard, sisters, marines etc. COuld also be jungle themed bits - etched brass leaf sheet with resin 'frog monsters' man eating plants, fungus groth etc - suitable for any race, but esp. catachans and nids but remaining flexible.

1) and 2) Terminator bodies (like the SW) for the main Chapters and Chaos Cults - their bodies are much more detailed
3) 40K Daemon Prince
4) Necron Harvester (remember the Goodwin art?)
5) Massive Ork warboss (MASSIVE)

Bonus 6) 18 inch BFG Imperial Battleship - just because

1 - Winged Hive Tyrant upgrade kit for current model. The wings would be made for the upper arm sockets and would either have weapons built into the wings (like Scything Talons) or they could come out with Resin combo-arms for the lower arms that incorporate two weapons into each arm (I don't need such a kit anymore but I know a LOT of people would buy them if they were available).

2 - Ork Warboss on bike. Already mentioned by others but it is a GREAT, needed idea.

3 - Real Ork vehicle variants. Not new rules (like the crappy gunwagon), just a bunch of different buggy, trakk, trukk and battlewagon model variations so players have different choice of styles like the IG. While we're at it, a much better looted Ork vehicle upgrade kit would be nice to make it easier to convert your Looted Wagons from Imperial vehicles.

4 - Genestealer variants. I'd love to see some wicked looking Genestealers that have been created through all the different 40K races. It would be a neat way to have variation between your stealer squads.

5 - A new Tyranid heavy shooter who isn't a Carnifex. I'm thinking of a Biovore offshoot that carries a direct fire weapon that is good for killing vehicles. Perhaps: Two Twin-Linked S8 AP1 shots at BS3 with a 36" range? Some mean little bugger with big cannons on his back. Just like Biovores you could take up to 3 of them as a single HS choice but they operate independently on the battlefield. I'd buy that in a nano-second.

1: Ciaphas Cain. I dunno why but.. I think FW should put out a mini of the reluctant hero and his odiferous companion.

2: A set of tank crew. I don't mean 3 guys popping out of a cupola, or a tank commander, I mean 5 stand-alone crew, doing tank crew stuff. Loading up some ammo or Jerry cans, climbing out one of the many hatches on a LR or BaneBlade, fixing ... something, and just plain standing around. The conversion potential here is limitless, and the dioramas would be fantastic. Also, they have to be Death Korp....

3: More Fantasy stuff. I dunno what (I'd prefer something for my armies of course..) but I like their fantasy stuff, think they should do more. Like war machines or beasts, army specific.

4: Naval Crew. I think it'd be tops to see their take on crew for big warships. Captains, ensigns, deck officers, maybe even slave gun crews, etc. etc. Perfect for boarding action games when playing Gothic.

Ouch Yakface, sounds like you are struggling to hold back a desire for infested Broadsides. I think this would be an incredibly poor idea, nids should have their top end firepower reduced, or made to be uncomfortably big growths on the bigger bugs, and never more than 1 per force org slot used. Nids should be forced into being at least partly a close combat orientated army, shooty nids blur the lines, nids should pay premium for the firepower they can grow.

However you twin linked S8 gun would have its place, on a slow as mollasses TMC variant which is weakened in S and T to make up for the firepower it evolves.

We could also do with a Dactylis, for some long range pie plates.

Oh dear, thats two just from being carried away on a reply. Might as well find another three.

3. I second the ork warboss on a bike idea.

4. Farseer and warlocks on jetbikes. Actually this is my number 1 want, the only unit in 40K that has no model representation. I keep asking....

5. Stormhammer. Four battlecannon (probably two twin linked) and four sponsons of lascannon and tl heavy bolters. A big tank with plenty of firepower, reliable, effective and no single big gun problems.
