Here is the new bitz and collectorsmodel catalogue free for download.
Some nice sets, but I miss too many usefull bitz.
The Spacemarine armourhistory set is nice, and the goffrockband is back, YAY!
Hopefully they will add some sets in the future.

Could've been worse, but it could've been a helluva lot better, too. I'm glad I ordered a buncha bitz over the last few months.

I thought the bitz would still all be there. Is this it, or are they adding to the catalog as the year goes by?

If this will really be the only way to get bits (in "deals"), then my GW spending will be even lower. Now, you may ask how I can spend less than $0.00 per month on GW stuff. Rest assured, I will find a way.

Wow, if that small section on the last page is their whole selection of Bitz Packs, that blows chunks. At least I can still get more Iron Warriors pads, and Balrog and Pegasus, and harpie? wings.

Movie Marines, lots of codexes, and now the price guide, the Germans get all the best downloads! The prices seem to be about the same as the US site has for the stuff that is already up post change. I thought about getting the two Chapter Masters I want separately but it is like a buck more at a discount place for all 4.

Is it me or do the Germans have better names for things?

Instead of Assault Marines they have Sturmtruppen.

My new favorite is Chaos Terminator mit Zwillingsmashinenkanone

Cybot is a pretty crappy name and Scriptor is just latin. Also Anung un Rama is a Sigillum SAnctum the same as a purity seal?

I'm not sure. I can't find in the calatouge. I don't play loyal scum, but if I recall right it's some sort of upgrade for either the standart bearer or the chaplain

This is not all of GW's bits. If you go online to their store right now you will still see plenty of old fashioned separate bits for sale.

These packages represent only the stuff they pulled out of the bits service a few months ago and I don't even think they've rolled out all of those things yet.

The US site has already pulled almost all bits (late Saturday), some show up in a search but you can't buy them. Some of the armies are now organized for the change over. Some even have new bits/sets but are still missing the replacement non-randomized blisters.

As much as I'm usually happy to gleefully cackle at GW's bizarre business practices, I would note that they're one of very few companies that can even try to do a bits service. Most miniatures companies can't even consider it due to the investment in time involved.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

I'm guessing any future tau bitzpack will have an O'Shovah arm, his shield, sniper drone components, pathfinder laying down, shield drone, sniper drone controller's body, and shadowsun's backpack.

Lucky for me I only need shadowsun's backpack.

Hello:

This is correct. The search refreshes every night at midnight so things are usually out of whack after big changes for about a day. We're working hard on getting all of the new products (about 500 in all) on the online store but our time to get all of the work done was fairly short so we're slightly behind.

A complete list of everything that was removed is on the news page in the US site here:

http://us.games-workshop.com/news/default.htm

You should still be able to get most of the things on that list from our Direct Services phones at 1-800-394-4263 until mid-February or while supplies last.

Thanks,

Rich, is it possible to order these bits from a GW store or must you use direct services. Just tryin' to save some postage money if I can help it.

Hello:

Yes, you can order through your local GW Hobby Center until February 2nd. After that you can still get those components and models through Direct (directly) by calling 1-800-394-4263 until February 13th.

On our side of the pond a few bits have gone down in price ! No, really. Couple of quid off of Ogres, a fiver off of a dew kits like the DE cauldron and similar. Of course a few have gone up.... guess the increase in the Marneus Clagar box set also confirms the powerfist nerf in 5th edition then.

That is good to hear, there were a few bits/minis I could not afford to get this month, maybe I will get lucky and they will still have a few of them next month. Just remember that some of the stuff on the list is already gone for good because they have exhausted their supply.

P.S. I got my Catalogue today but it did NOT have the promised price guide
