The lovely folks at Reaper over in Denton, TX have updated their retail site with NEW GREENS!
I'm very excited about this, mostly because they've not put new greens up in six weeks, and with Rackham's new model production seemingly non-existant, I miss seeing new stuff!

Looking for a way to spice up that Lizardman army? Look no further, because this wonderful Jason Weibe-sculpted TURTLE WITH A SPEAR should fit in just fine!

Do you know a Skaven player who wants to have a model that's a) more thespian than the others, and b) is more dog than rat? You're in luck again, as Bobby Jackson saw fit to gift us with this KOBOLD VERSION OF HAMLET!

Female Vampire Lord too dressed for your liking? Or maybe you have a necromancer that needs more curves and wraiths, and less clothes? Ladies and gentlemen, Bob Rodolfi was thinking of you when he sculpted this WRAITH QUEEN!

And are your Nurglings just not seasonal enough? Do they tend to freeze in place in winter, rather than infecting people and tying them down in combat? Now, with help from sculptor Jason Weibe, you can have your own MINI-SNOWMEN! What's not to love?

If you can't believe this and need to see for yourself, click on over to Reaper's Greens Site and see for yourself. You'll be glad you did!

[Edit: I was so excited, I forgot to capitalize the KOBOLD VERSION OF HAMLET properly. It's fixed now.]

How much more drunk do they need to be? Because we can do it.

I don't know what you kids are talking about with them new-fangled podcast dealy-o's. How you get voice across the tubes that make up the interweb, I don't know!

Though the good news is that it would be unaffected by the WGA strike - I just improvise all of my material.

Reaper is mostly known for their Fantasy figures. Their
sci-fi stuff is CAV, which is kinda like battletech.

Wow. Loving the turtle. And the evil snowmen. Everything else is a little meh. But I dig it.

Any word on their Weird War II game? They keep talking about it but I see no pretty figures...

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

I've not seen a release schedule, but they usually have the molds made and the models available in stores 6-12 weeks after the greens are posted. Most of the last batch (posted on 14 December) are available in stores as of this week.

My understanding is that Weird War II is done by someone else, who's trying to get Reaper to do contract casting and moldmaking for him. I'm not sure what the status of it is, though. I'll post if I hear anything!

For those of you interested in the turtles, these should be available in stores as of 28 January:

Wow, that turtle is freakin' awesome. I guess I'm a sucker for turtles though.

It would be great to do a turtle-themed Lizardman army. GW should release Turtlemen as an alternative to heavy armored Temple Guard!

That'll cost you a pretty penny for WHFB Hordini (no plastics).
