I guess you could also take that idea one step further and stick it to plasticard or foam card...I guess that would offer the greatest durability

Card models are really great. The only disadvantage is lack of nice curves, but those are difficult to achieve in any case.

Actually for new players you will really want to stick to very "box" like terrain since it simplifies the LoF and LoS rules quite a bit. When you get into rounded or funky shaped terrain it can get a little complicated.

I have made some containers. I did paste every face of the container with cardboard and put some empty batteries inside to make the whole piece have more weight and avoid to have the terrain rolling through the batlefield.
I would suggest this to everyone: add weight to the paper terrain to avoid movement of those pieces. In a game like Infinity where Line of Fire and cover is so important the last thing you need is a moving self-concious building.

I would also write here: try to make the whole table of printed textures or try to make the whole table of painted terrain. The mix of both doesn´t work, looks weird.

Hmm there be rumblings in the Spanish forums saying there is an interview that is coming out soon that has "at least two very interesting things about the infinity future..."

It could be a number of things, Aristria(spelling?) which they've been thinking about for a while......I can't imagine it would be another expansion so soon, I mean, how long has Human Sphere been out now? 2 or 3 years?

Next expansion? Yes, probably some news about the campaign book and new troops.

Plastic Miniatures? Probably not now, probably never. They are a metal company, all their machines and moulds are for metal miniatures. Getting into plastic will mean a huge capital inversion. That would be a risky move for them.

I wouldn't mind a change to resin... as long as it doesn't turn out like Finecast...

... I need metal in my life and the design of Infinity minis is different from GW gorilla like proportions so the thin ankles and wrists would snap.

I agree - and there's always hope of an alternate sculpt with that version of the model actually holding a Combi Rifle...

Well, the picture of the units in the box refers to the chimera as "winter vixen version," which I would take to mean that there will be alternate versions in the future.

Aye, I'd happily add any of those to my force at a future point.
