O i know DoW has them with red blood, just assumed that was for meta game (ie easier coding) purposes. Just would have thought (obviously wrongly since theyve retconned it) that they would pay more attention to detail in such a smaller game. Then again, im not a game designer

Maybe they've just gone RT old-school, when Orks had red blood. Before any of this mushroom fungus algae nonsense.

This game is fun. The survival mode has a bug where if you last about 21 minutes it just auto loses you. Also Techmarine with Meltagun is win!

Well, I certainly would't enjoy it as much, if it didn't have a 40k setting.
Seriously, a game on an Ork kroozer? I want more!

And is it just me, or was the music taken directly from Dawn of War 2?

Found a couple of severe glitches but other than that a blast. Tried to solo my first time through as the Van Vet, what a terrible mistake. All I have to do now is go back and find the collectables *prepares for 7 more hours of play*

Looks like Alien Infestation, just without online play but plus 40k.

Release it for PC and add ANY other race to play besides Spess Mehreens YET AGAIN and I'll gladly give it a try as well.

Finally downloaded this and played it at the weekend.

Pretty dammed Good!

Had a go with the Sternguard and the Techmarine. I can't see why people have complained about the Techmarine.

The second I swated a bunch of Orks and Grots with the servo arm I was in love!

Plasmacannon blasts for the Sternguard are a bit pixelated but who cares when you are firing that much molten death at greenskins.

Weird that they retconned it.

Ork blood has been red for years. Andy Chambers wrote a article about it near the start of 3rd edition and presented some good background reasons for it but the main reason is that it looks cool

I don't know why either as I think he's ace. Give him a meltagun and burn the place up!

+1 on the techmarine with melta gun, pick up a rapid fire do-hicky and you're gonna burn the freakin house down.

First play through was almost entirely sternguard, apart from the nid section when I found the vanguard to be best (special attack great for dodging termagant shots and chopping things to pieces!). On second play through as tech marine, achievement whoring.

FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!

I thought the game was cancelled, so I bought Section 8 Prejudice!

Oh well, I will buy it after I pre-order Space Marine. Nothing says I have to play it before I play Space Marine to get the power sword correct?

Eh, it was good and fun for a while, the thing that I feel is missing is the addition of online co-op (note: I said addition; I still support the offline split screen, which most new games seem to be lacking).

I wouldn't say I'd get it again if I had the choice, but the power sword thing for SM is pretty neat.

Yah, I think I will end up getting the powersword retro-actively. You can do that right?

Wait, this doesn't have online co-op? Bummer. :(

Still, I'm hoping to find time to snag this over the weekend.

Really?

I've spent at least that on the first mission.
Trying to beat a friend's score on the level is half of the fun.
Reminds me of Bulletstorm in that way.
Playing it for a score, rather than to get thru it.
Running through with each character gives plenty of replay value.
The only character I dislike was the assault marine. His special felt wonky, and inefficient.

I would have liked online co-op. My xbox friends are not in my city.
I think some spots are almost too difficult for solo play.

I played through it co-op with a friend so maybe that's why it went so fast. The whole thing just felt rushed to me and some of my favorite games are dungeon crawls so I thought I'd enjoy it a lot more.

It is too easy with coop. I asked my little cousins to play out a coop level for the achievement (no online coop means I wouldn't have gotten it otherwise) and they passed through an entire level only with only one death... and that was with completely stupid choices that waste the powerups. I do wish that they added a difficulty toggle to the game to increase the challenge.
