Fun fact.
You can edit the article to include your own painful injury!
Images would also be top notch.

i have a minor super glue story.
when i first got metal glue(essentaily super glue, or at least the type I get) i went to work on a old chaos dred that a friend gave me. five seconds later i was trying to scratch and pull it off, but at least i did not try to get it off with a hobby knife(i thought about it several times)

I once cut myself, the cut was so deep I tried to glue the two halves together with superglue. I then commenced to scream in pain for the next 2 minutes.... bad idea..

"I somehow managed to superglue a chaos terminator arm to my face about 7 years ago."
I think this is the funniest thing I've ever heard...
I was reminded of myself though with some of the knife articles. There was a point where I had bought 10 bases of tyranid rippers that were already glued to the 40mm round bases.
I was using a very sharp knife to pry them of and doing it very carefully. At a point I realized I began pushing the side of the knife towards my thumb, which was firmly holding the base.
There was a moment where a tiny voice inside my head said, "Stop. Stop right now." Then the ripper came off and the blade went into my finger. Down to the bone of my left thumb. The thumb I needed the next day to play bass with my band.
Needless to say, even after bandaging several times during the set, the neck of my midnight blue fade Carvin bass looks kind of pretty with blood streaks across it.

You are one unfortunate wargamer... About the only thing i can relate is the part where your friend decided to scare you while cutting a sprue. i ended up poking the bone of one of my fingers and my dad also thought warm water was a good idea. Not a fun experience :(

I think my worst injuring was a razor knife in my thigh( i forgot were i left it and stood up.) I had my mom patch me up( i was 12) she just some band aids and Duct tape... I still have the three inch scare on my Inner thigh.... Get story to tell a girl....
Second would be sticking my hand fingers first into my Chaos bag, getting a spiky trophy rack stuck under the fingernail....

i think i have somthing to add..
i had bougth me a new pot of superglue but my old one wasent dry yet..
now you have to know when i was 13 i didn't like it to clean my room an i liked it to wear a trainer and i always had lots of stuff in my pockets (gsm, wallet, iPod, etc..)
so i didn't mind if i felt somthing under me when i sat down.. neither did i when i had put my spuperglue on my desk chair..
i thougt "where is that stupid new glue?? where did he go?? na wat the.. never mind still got me old one.."
after three hours of painting an glueing some IG, mom calls for supper.. i stood up and realised.. the chair didn't want to let go f my pants.. arggh now what..

this is my absolute favorite article. I've had many, many, many incidents with super glue that were more dumb than funny. This has led me to hate metal models. Not the models, the glue. I can't tell you how many times I've glued my fingers together. Or other stupid incidents.
I kinda feel bad for the guy on top of the article who cut his arm while working on the Baneblade.
With some of the knife sections, I was kinda reminded about how bad I am with a knife. I was 13 at the time. I was cutting up some foam to make a miniature case, and I made the mistake of cutting towards myself. Four times. I put four neat cuts right next to one another on my thumb that were about an inch long. After that, painting was annoying.

I remember when, age 12, I was working on a polystyrene ork fort.
craft knife + cutting towards thumb = ouch.
It bled for about 30 min non-stop. Deep, but strangely not painful. I also moaned about how 5th ed. had really f***ed up GK in front of a friend, flicked a page in the 5th ed. rulebook, and got a papercut. Perfect timing. I'd never laughed so much in my life.
Oh and on several occasions have I managed to superglue-coat several fingers and hands. I then spend the next week or two peeling it off with my teeth.

My brother spilled an entire container of chaos black on my white carpet in my room, and I was away at college and no one else ever goes in my room, so i come home and find some black duct tape taped to the floor covering the size of about a baseball, I remove the duct tape to find a giant block of hardened black paint...my mom was not pleased with my brother.

I once slipped with a surgical scalpel while battle damaging a marine... the blade entered the top of my left thumb and went in till the handle touched the end of my finger nail... luckily it severed the nerves... i felt no pain but it bled for ages and wouldn't clot... it still stiff now like 4 years on haha and if memory serves i later crashed my motor bike breaking a toe followed by super glue in the eyes (im not even sure how i did that still) causing me to have a new prescription of glasses... fun eh haha ....

I once cut myself so deep on the thumb that out of morbid stupidity I put my dripping blood into an empty paint pot before I went and actually patched it up (lesson one learned never cut towards your thumb with exacto knife)
So...again out of morbidness I painted my Swooping Hawk Exarch's sword in my blood, like a wash. It actually looked pretty freaking cool. Later sold it and the rest of my Eldar to a guy at a Warzone store for his enormous collection of Chaos and broken models. (god I love fixing things others throw out.) That said I REALLY wish I knew where that army is now.

Heh. Gluing fingers together with super glue is par-for-course as far as I'm concerned. Now, what's fething impossible to get off your hands is that two-part resin water stuff that you use for fake flower vases. Hardens clear to look like water after some time. (Using it as the casting material for a mold.) Well. I've learned three things when dealing with that stuff: First, read the box - it takes 24 -48 hours to dry under normal circumstances. Waiting 24 hours and trying to pop the mold out does not end well. Second, mixing paint with the resin shifts it from normal circumstances to "abnormal circumstances". (Second attempt at a cast sat in the mold for a week+ and never dried. Huge mess getting it out, but at least that time I wore disposable gloves.) Third: That stuff sticks to your skin like a mofo. Spent an hour at a faucet with soap and the rough side of a kitchen sponge taking off the top few layers of skin on my hands before they would stop sticking to everything.

Reading this made my evening. Also showed me how careful I am to some regard.
The only cuts I've ever had for a model is slicing me fingers twice while carving the UM symbols of the Telion model.
Paint wise i've dropped Chaos Black on orange carpet... that didn't work out well. Zoom forward in time and I drop Calthan Brown on a brown carpet. The Brown was easy to hide... the Black... not so much.
Oh and my freezer in my garage used to be white... its now black in places from the spraycan and failed attempts at aiming at the sprues... same applies for the wall behind it.
