Many of them like poppy (wife's grandpa), sold their mowers when they had the money to hire someone to do the work. Now hey don't have the money or the mower to get the job done, only some of them have kids or grand kids that will drag their gear over every week to help out.

Ah but what about younger home owners?

There's not a lot of those in the subdivision as the home prices are so high and the homes are built for large families. Also due to age and cost of the homes younger people tend to just buy new homes which don't need the repairs and updates these will need.

Ok, so I got sidetracked by this dollar store "Army guy" set I picked up cheap..The "army guys" are the kind you play with outdoors and are so bad they aren't worth camera time.

That's a great idea Dave. I always loved the joe jeep, and the cobra one with the missile launcher. The only thing better would be the motorcycle with assault cannon.

Oh, I plan on getting a second set I saw, one with a missile launcher trailer..It's BEGGING to be made into this dynamic duo!

I could've left the axles movable, but I decided to superglue all the axle bits to the brass rod for stability

Very cool, I love the Zinge products myself, those tyres look perfect for that vehicle.

Amazing how the dollar store cheap toy was a good size for the conversion, and yes it did look like they downscaled the G.I Joe one for their "Army guy" set, the cannon would also work as well.
