I have no doubt of that. Can't wait to play it in 2012.

The graphics look phenominal whilst still retaining the classic Diablo and D2 look.

I want to break out D2 again but am trying to clock every race on souldstorm...

Love how the barbarin just kills hordes of ghouls by jumping. Or 3 at a time with his swing.

Then to see them fall of the edge.

I dread to think of the computing power required for that badboy.

That looks like fun. I like the graphical style and the way the enemies come from multiple directions. Nothing much seemed to hurt Mr Barbarian!

Or in the worst case scenario used the Tactics engine.

I doubt that Diablo 3's requirements will be off the chart, they usually try to get to most gamers without them needing a super PC.

At least I hope either a x1600 or a geforce 7600 run it, otherwise I might have to buy a desktop just for the fun of it.

My main pride and joy right now is that Blizzard is NOT having it monthly pay. Sure its not a MMORG but I can see Blizzard (the sly bastards) making it monthly.
Now to Nit Pick.
Graphics: Love em' but I have seen a couple of recent games that have as good graphics and have destructible terrain. Main difference though is that in DIII you can have a wall... crush people.... awesome....

Enemies: Love the cultist aspects seems cool, some seemed a little cartoony and the cultest hats remind me of a certain Klan...
But I'm sure they have a wealth of enemies and levels so really not to much of a problem.
Bosses... This was my major problem VERY cartoony, love the fact that their big but it was hard for me to get into the good old gritty feeling with those bosses.

Health glob things: I liked potions...I guess it makes for faster play again don't care to much, but makes it feel like its less of the original and more of a just plain fighting system.

Classes: Awesome! knowing blizzard, they'll have a ton of classes only worry so far is that the Witch doctor seems very similar to the DII Necromancer; I hope this doesn't mean they're not having Necromancers...

All in all looks utterly awesome and looks like something I'll have fun playing with my friends. My only worrys are really that they keep it gritty and dark and hopefully keep away from the whole Cartoony 3-d look that sometimes happens to 3-d games.

Never ever ever watch B movies for fun.
It will ruin your mind.

I'll get sucked into the hype once the game has a solid release date that's changed at least twice. But I'm certain that I'll buy the game and enjoy playing it. Blizzard always spends the time necessary to do their games justice and I for one really appreciate that shcool of thought.

Forever alone

I wonder how they are going to make the main antagonists work. The Three Prime Evils (Baal, Mephisto and Diablo) are stuck in hell forever, as are two of the lesser evils (Andariel and Duriel), so who are the baddies this time around?

A comet crashed or something. Seriously.

But don't worry, it happened while preist guy (Decard Cain?) was praying in the ruins of town place (Tristam?).

YES!!! Just another thing to add to my list of distractions from getting any modeling/painting done!!!

I'm so stoked to see Blizz. do something that is not WoW related. (sorry, don't play it) Something I just found out, Blizz. has a new (well, new to me) patch for Diablo 2 + Exp., 112a. They said it will allow you to play D2 without the disk in the drive. Plus, I'm sure there is more to it than just that.

So far, Barbarian and Witch Doctor. I sure hope they bring the Necky back.

I Guess we will have to wait for E3 to get anymore info about the game or other playables.

*sigh*

Maybe they did something to the Necromancer in the story
that keeps it from appearing in the game except as an
NPC or something.

Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

I think I read something about they could have 'Necky' and Witch Doctor both. I think it was the Gamespot article. But they are still undecided.

I played what-do-ya-call-it. Hellgate London. It was kind of 'meh' to me. Not a bad game but not a great one either. Kind of boring. Reminded me of some old 'Carbon Copy' RPG. Like say, I dunno. Dragon Warrior 2 if you are not Japanese. No offense to the Japanese or anyone who enjoyed Dragon Warrior 2, I am not saying it was not OK.

Or maybe it was just not that great of a game. Hellgate London. The story and world was cool.

Edit: How about Might and Magic # or Wizardry #. Something like that. Just kind of blah. But still OK.

This would be, for example, unlike DIABLO THREE!!!!!

Failgate London was made by some former Blizzard North employees, the team who made Diablo 1 and 2. They broke up in 2005 for some reason. Anyway, the game was terrible. It was just a modern-day Diablo clone.
