Space marine man, we always need new models!!!

Just kidding, though actually I think Dark Elves need new models the most. The basic troop of theirs look like absolute crap... Where as the corsairs and cold one knights are freaking amazing. Its the only reason I didn't start a Dark Elf Army.

High Elves could use new Core plastics. Gorilla-hands FTL.

Dark Eldar definitely for 40k, though SoB's could stand to gain some plastics (though the metal models aren't terrible).

Sisters are the only core-metal army remaining, so they should be next.

Assuming GW ever decides to address the Inqusition again...

Yeah, I have to vote sisters for 40k. The DE models are at least plastics, and can be converted or painted to minimized the suck. Sisters are still unposable and expensive.

In Fantasy, the DE warriors are one of the worst kits out there and would immediatly improve the entire army.

Obversely, Sisters still look great, while DE are the ghost of ugly reborn. Sisters are expensive, but don't really NEED to be redone like DE.

DE get my vote. Their sculpting is a sin.

Well.... the basic battle sister looks pretty good. The sister superiors were never great and haven't aged well, and the Seraphim frankly look just as bad as much of the DE line.

DE can be converted out of many other lines (Eldar, IG, FB), as they're simply aliens with no armor and a gun. Sisters need 1) bolters, 2) power armor) and 3) not be space marines. DE are easy to convert from, and to convert other ranges to use as them. Sisters are pretty much always represented with sisters.

Both ranges are pretty sad, but the high cost of metals is the sole reason for so few sisters armies.

I'm going to annoy people here, but I think the Cadians look dire. I know it'll never happen soon, but the plastics are all wrong in my opinion. The dimensions aren't right, and they look like NFL players with lasguns. Compared to, say, Mordian Iron Guard, the scaling is plain to see. Perhaps the gravity is strong on Cadia, giving rise to stunted chic?
However, they are very popular and are supported by stong metals (Kasrkin, and command), so their faults are somewhat marginalised. Although I dislike the Cadians, they beat those monstrous models who look like ork hybrids; the Catachans. Ouch! Give me their range circa 1994 for any day. Maybe they'll get a makeover with the forthcoming codex?

Dark Eldar have it rough. Their basic, ubiquitous warriors have remained in stasis since being released with 3rd edition. Box models are tradionally quite poor, so it's nice to see the new marine/ork box adressing that. Dark Eldar still lay abandoned. Why is this? These plastics were around before Fire Warriors and Necron Monoliths were even coined.

Plastic Sisters would be nice; I'm sure their is a broad scope there looking at the recent flagellant releases etc.

Thumbs up for Tyranids; their plastics still look great. Marines are stock, orks are fine and mostly get mixed up anyway.

Wouldn't mind seeing CSM's getting a brutal update after all this SM business overshadows them. Hopefully the new Hordes Of Choas book will throw up lots of modelling potential.

So yeah, Dark Eldar, but we know that's coming. Poke the Cadians too, just for me.

I really should be spending my time more constructively.

Grey Knights could do with some more plastic as far as the basic troops go and the terminators. Plus a bit more variety of arms and what not.

not to mention weapon options. And bigger daemon killer guns. And a codex rewrite...............

......I'll stop now.

I would have to agree with most people on Dark Elder needing new models badly, there are other raes that need upbdates like chaos oblitorators.

The worst thing is that GW listened to you.

Now, we need to blame you for the price increase.

Fair enough.. blame away.. I suppose I could even be indirectly responsible for gas prices that went up too.. Hey, if you'd like, blame me for global warming..

Dark Eldar need a range overhaul. Nothing else really needs new models, as the ranges are mostly full except Orks, which need their second wave yesterday.

I really think they need to work on plastic HQ choices for every army. The Warboss and Captain from Blackreach are a demonstration of what they are capable of. GW need to do at least one choice for every army IMHO

I would say necrons for 40K. Not that the models they have now aren't cool but they all look the same. they need more diversity in troop types. Do you want metal skeletons with big guns or metal skeletons with bigger guns or floating metal skeleton with big guns?

For fantasy I would say the skaven are probly the least impressive. They need new models and a book to boot.

Any unit in a codex that doesn't have a model should get one, in my opinion.

Whatever is the new release will get new models.

GW is a model selling company that makes rules to sell models.

I think though that when tomb kings get redone they will have a heap of new plastics as the totall WIN VC skeles and grave guard really set the bar for undead kits.

Ork wartraks/warbuggys anyone?

Those things look appaling, the drivers/gunners just don't fit with other orks

I've never been keen on the hyper-exaggerated Catachans, although I can appreciate how terrifying a horde of grunting, steroid-abusing jungle freaks could be for an opponent.

My first army was Dark Eldar, and I could probably be tempted back to them with new plastic Wyches.

I've heard from a pretty reliable source that Dark Eldar are getting a full re-write and re-sculpt, so we won't see them until mid-late next year at the earliest.
