Well, I've finally given in to the power of Chaos and their shiny new models. First flamer posted, obviously need to base them (any ideas/bases for sale that are 'demon' specific?) Don't know if I'm sold on the red/orange for Tzeentch or not...but he still has blue flames. Any suggestions welcome;

looks good, but might be better if its a bit brighter, sprayed it with ardcoat? might give it a lighter look.


also, thought about taking kairos or a GD?

Heh, I was worried it was too bright! =0 I think it's my camera/lighting in my rec room...as it's pretty bright. Perhaps more yellow/white hightlights on the head? I'll give it a go and see how it turns out.

Not sure what you mean by the second sentence....kairos means WIP shots but not familiar with GD?

a bit of white should do it.

kairos - the fateweaver, special character and kicks ass.

GD - greater daemon, could be amusing to take a birdie of tzeentch

Oh, ok with you. I plan on doing a multi-god army, with a Slaanesh GD...never liked Big Bird that much.

new one looks like crap.

and the fateweaver is a good model, fairly strong, fun to play and great fluff, not to mention good convertion.

Actually, I think I'll go with the Ultraforge Pleasure Demon...or the FW KOS...

havent seen the UF one, migh take a look.
the FW one is great
but annoying to take anywhere, my friend has snapped the arm off of his one several times now.

I like the FW one, expensmuch though.
I don't think the UF one is S&M enough to be a KOS... it's pretty but not hellraisery enough, needs more flesh hooks etc...

are these colours choosen because it's a flamer or are you going to use this scheme across the range?
red/orange with blue as a spot colour would make a good colour scheme for khorne too.
dunno how much you could bend it for the other parts of the chaos wheel... smelly orange plaguebearers...

Well, I don't like the blue/white scheme....so I thought I would try fire.

It won't be a scheme throughout my army, I always viewed the different demons as a large combination of colors...no unification. In fact, I think I'm going to do their bases different too. I hope it won't clash too badly. Here are the bases I'm going to use;

Khorne will use the "Chaos Bases"
Nurgle will use the "Spooky Bases"
Slaanesh will use the "Infested bases"
Tzeentch will use the "Ruin Bases"

As I said before, hopefully it doesn't clash. I plan on doing a mono army for each eventually as well...so the bases would at least blend together then .

wouldnt khone be better with the "skulls" bases?
