Jenkins: You don't have jurisdiction here!
Smith Jamison: We aren't here, which means when we open up on you and shred your bodies with automatic fire then this will never have happened.
About the Clans: "Those brief outbursts of sense can't hold back the wave of sibko bred, over hormoned sociopaths that they crank out though." |

C&C3 was the first, true C&C game that didnt suck since EA took over westwood. Now I am also looking forward to red alert 3 - so many happy memories of destroying people with tanya, and destroying tanya with dogs

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k. Rule #1 - BBAP

Executing Exarch

Wow the cast is impressive. I find it really funny though that Randy Couture is going to be doing voices for it. That's just funny. All in all though, I got mostly burned out on RTS's after I finished up with Warcraft II (yes that's 2). Its just all tends to boil down to, build your glob of dudes, send them out, and pray they are better than the enemy glob. The real time element really boils all the stratagy out of them and turns it into an excersize in twitch reflexes and micro management. Although I played Soul Storm this weekend and it caught my attention. So maybe I'll have a run with it and see if I haven't regaind some fun from the whole thing.

You know C&C RA 3 comes with a code to give an in game item in Warhammer Online. Makes you look like a Bear with a Russian hat on for a short period. If anyone gets it and isn't going to be playing I know a Warhammer Online player that could use it...

You can actually download red alert 1 for free on the site as well.
i just tried running it on vista and it works fine. some graphical glitches (for example the health bards are in weird colors) but who cares.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

Is it just me, or does anyone else find the penultimate Missions in C&C games to be the hardest, and the final missions something of a walkover?
Seriously, Red Alert 2, once you deploy 3 Chrono Troopers, you have the Ruskies by the short and curlskis. Hop around the map, erasing his Nuclear Reactors, and you are done. By each one is an area safe to stand in where you don't get spotted.

Quite a bit, hopefully.
Wasn't at all impressed with the last offering. I mean, after Dawn Of War kicked the genre into gear again, I was shocked at the utter lack of innovation shown in C&C3. I could still Castle in my base, build up a huge force, and then just roll over the enemy. The AI was next to useless, and the missions leapt from banal to infuriating. Not my idea of a good time at all.
