Hiding in a dark alley with a sharp knife!

Hullo everyone! I used to post here back before the forum was redone. However I have not done so in some time, so pardon the new account.

Anyway, recently I scored a lot of of Jes Goodwin Eldar figures on Ebay. (After actually examining the miniatures I strongly suspect they are good quality recasts rather than actual product...but once they are painted up no one will know the difference, so what the hell. Don't ask, don't tell, right? )
Anyway, among other things this lot included the entire contents of the original RT era Harlequin box set. I'm a fairly capable painter, but coming up with color schemes for Harlequin models has always been difficult for me. So, I'll probably just use the photo on the back on the box as a painting guide and do a direct translation of that. This is what I did the last time I painted any of these things.

But the problem is that I have long ago misplaced the packaging for my original (now long sold Harlequins), Does anyone out there still have their original Harlequin box? If so, can you scan the photo and post it? I've looked around the 'net and have only found examples of the art from the front of the the box.

Thanks loads!

TR

try looking at picture cards (as in cards game), cards like jack, queen and king of all 4 suits might have a good colour scheme.
i know it sounds weird, but its the same sort of design.

Hiding in a dark alley with a sharp knife!

Thanks for the tip. Yes, there are plenty of sources for painting inspiration out there...including the current edition Harlequin models in the Eldar codex. But I would rather see the painted examples from the original box.

I'm pretty certain that at least ONE of you out there still has one.

Hiding in a dark alley with a sharp knife!

Thanks for the post.

But once again, I'm looking for a scan of the photograph from the back of the RT harlequin box.

Really, if you want ideas for quins, there are a lot of places to look. I would start with a couple of google image searches...humm, let me take a look...

Ok try searches for the following

mardigra costume
evil clown
clashing fashion
ugly dress

Some great quin inspiration to be had with all. I mean if this doesn't inspire you to pain a harlequin, I don't know what would.

Hiding in a dark alley with a sharp knife!

One last try at this.

I'm suprised that no one has stepped forward yet.

I'll probably have to wait for another compete harlequin box to pop up on Ebay and convince the seller to scan the back of the box for an interested "potential buyer".

I did have the box and sold it along with all the harlequins (18 in total) it came with a few months back when money was very tight. The person who'd had them before me had attempted to paint them as shown on the back of the box, and not done a bad job either. There's a tiny chance I have a photo of the reverse still, but it won't be a close up.

Right then...after some rather dodgy pics showing no respect whatsoever, here are some pics of the back of the box!

In today's terms that box would cost $133.
