well im not sure if i should use the autocannon or the twin linked lascannon for the turret? ill be useing lascannons for the side sponsons. i like the 2 shots from the autocannon but the lascannon is stronger so im stumped. thoughts?

I recommend sticking with HB side sponsons. Yes two lascannons are nice, but only if you will be not moving.

I like to take the auto cannon HB setup for infantry and light tank killing.

If you feel you need more firepower take the twin lascannon on top.

I want to say that in the new dex you may be able to take power of the machine spirit. While I don't know the BS of the new MS, 3 dice over 1 is much better odds.

i wont be moving the tank after the first turn if i can help it of even at all for that matter and ive got plenty of anti infantry i think ill go with the all lascannons thanks Datadep5

I concur, heavy bolters and auto cannon are good against troops.
But the extra sponsons on a lascannon preditor are a worthy upgrade, mostly you wanna park that tank on a hill and fire every turn until the end of the game or you tank gets killed... a small support squad is usful to protect the tank from close combat and to hunt Meltas before they get into range.

to get your own magnets. ebay is your friend, so many sellers competeing for your money means you get them fairly cheap.
look for Neodymium magnets, also called rare earth magnets.
you want round magnets about 3mm-6mm diameter for the sponsons. and between 1mm and 2mm deep
and between 6mm and 10mm diameter for the turret.

I used 6mm on my Dreads something like these magnets the process is similar to what you can do.
