Hello. Its mine first list in 5 ed (i was playing long time ago so i don't know whats now powerfull and what is not).

Ok, idea is to create kind of speed freaks, Panzer Orks. The more Rokits the better.

I know that tank bustas now are not the best option, but i like them and thay will stay.
Second thing, i got miniatures only from Assault so i like to use them. Eg. i got 6 Deffkoptas so it will be nice to trow them into list

Now its mine try to make Panzer Orks. I will be happy for somme feedback about ideas about this list, only thing i am sure: Tanbustas and Deffkoptas stay.

I play for fun, not in GT. And this is fun list.

HQ

Warboss + Powerklaw, atack squig, cybork body, kombi rokit, bosspole.

Big Mek + Powerklaw, atack squig, cybork body, power field

TROOPS

(11) Sluga Boyz + Nob with PK
Trukk + Red Paint, grot riggers, armour plates - 156 pts

Deffdread + scorcha, grot riggers, aditional weapon to CC - 100 pts

ELITES

Lootedwagon + red paint, grot riggers, rokit - 55 pts

Lootedwagon + red paint, grot riggers, rokit - 55 pts

FAST ATTACK

(3) Deffkoptas - 105 pts
(3) Deffkoptas + linked Rokits - 135 pts
(5) Storm Boyz + Nob, armor, bosspole - 80 pts


Da plan is:

Lootedwagons with Tankbustas on them and Deff Koptas are moving closer and shoot when they can.
Trukks with Warboss + Boyz and Mek + Boyz are going to Close Combat.
Small Storms are to aid any team when in need or to kill small oposite teams (like cannon operators, etc).

What do you think?

Prehaps you should read what bakemono has to say.

"I know tank bustas are nowthey are not the best option, but I like them and they will stay."

Jumping in with "Nah, don't bother with tank bustas" doesn't exactly help.

I like the idea! if Iwas you I'd drop the grot riggers and find a few pts to give the trukks rams. This means you can drive into terrain for obscured saves, and have a good chance of staying mobile. Maybe swap the big mek for a wierdboy, giving you some funny powers including the nice anti MEQ 'Frazzle'.

I have 13 spare points. So i can buy 2 trukks rams.
About Weirboy/warphead:
I have cuning plan to convert one of Assault's Nobs to Mek. Converting him to Wierdboy will be a little to hard for me i think
And in list there is no unit that can use often Weirdboy aditional Waaaagh.



I have some other questions:
- Do the rockets on Deffkoptas are good idea? Or they are better with Big Guns?
- About Grot Riggers, are the useless on Trukks/Looted wagons? Where are they better, on Trukk or on Lootedwagon?
- About Storm Boyz, they are 5 of them. So bosspole are good or bad choice? I don't know if they will have chance to use it...

I definitely second the RAM idea.

Also I would recommend swapping the looted wagons out for warbuggies with twin linked rokkits, paint them red as well. Frankly I hae found that combination to really tie up other vehicles.

Skip the stormboyz. The squad is to small to be effective. For the same points you can get about 20 grots + 2 handlers. They are scoring and something you won't mind leaving behind sitting on an objective while your trucks zoom around the board krumpin whatever looks fun. If you don't have the figs, a box of night goblins is pretty cheap, and there are tons of the battle for skull pass goblins runnign around any store with fantasy players.

It give us maksimum 31 rokkitz shots per turn (plus one from Warboss).

I am thinking about swaping big gunz on Trukk for anoter rokkitz.... (and then i will remove some grot riggers).

I thing i am near finishing this idea so its time to start converting and painting

Be prepared to lose quite often at first, but as you suggested yourself it is a list for fun...

I would suggest taking a battlewagon instead of the looted wagons, but that could crank up the points. You might need to dump the grots and possibly a few tankbusta's... It is great having Armor 14 and you want panzer so...

Other then that have fun with the list..

Hmm...
I can put out two Looted wagons, ant put one Battlewagon.
I am not sure, can i put two units of Tankbustas into one Battlewagon? I think yes but i am not sure.

If i trade looted wagons for battle wagon i can max him out. Even better i can keep the Grotz, and will have some spare points (for next Killa Kan??).

To loose quite often i am prepared. In every game i play, i play for fun.

Only one unit per transport. The tank bustas are actually a pretty good fit for the battlewagon. Give the battle wagon anti infantry guns(big shootas and maybe a lobba if points permit). Remember that you can only move 6" and still shoot though.

Also, once one of the boyz squad deploys have the second squad of tankbustas get into it and use it as thier ride. Tankbustas in a truck ae not that bad actually. May not be the best use of that many points in the whole army, but it sounds like you love the rokkity goodness.

So using all things you say now mine list look something like that:

I write what units are on what trukks:

1st Trukk (Red Paint, Ram, Grot Riggers, Armour plates)
- 11 Sluga Boyz + Nob (PK)
- Warboss (PK, Combo Rokkit, Squig, Cybork, Bosspole)
//281 pts


2nd Trukk (Red Paint, Ram, Armour plates) - No Grots, there is Mek on Board
- 11 Sluga Boyz + Nob (Uge chopa)
- Big Mek (Burna, Power Field, Squig, Cybork, Bosspole)
//271 pts

Battlewagon "Skullcracka" (Ram, Red Paint, Grot Riggers, Armour Plates, Cannon, 2x Big Gun, 2x Rokkit)
- 15 Tankbustas + 3 little cute squigs
//395 pts

Deff koptaz Squadron 1
- 3 Deff koptaz
//105 pts

Deff koptaz Squadron 2
- 3 Deff koptaz + Linked Rokkitz
//135 pts

Killa Kans
- 3 Killa Kans + Rokkitz
//150 pts

And one last unit
But i am not convinced what put here:

More mechanized troops, they harder to kill but cant take objectives.
- 3x Killa Kans With Rokkits? (150 pts)

or

One more Trukk (157 pts), with lots of shooting, they can be a little on the back so they can take objectives.
3th Trukk (Red Paint, Ram, Rokkit)
- 12 Shota Boyz + Nob (Boss pole), and two Rokkitz

or

One more Trukk (157 pts), with more CC orkz?
3th Trukk (Red Paint, Ram, Rokkit)

I think Shota Boyz will be best option.
What do you think?

I like this list as it is a fun list and stuff losing, all about the fun and theme, well done Bakemono.

To the Trukks with Rams, we've been playing with Trukks and Ram's alot recently and instead of actually firing the weapons, we've been RAMMING EVERY TURN WE CAN, the fact you have a fast vehicle means with some luck you can churn out one heck of a blast straight into the enemy and destroy transports, even heavier vehicles witha dirt cheap trukk. Yes you won't be able to shoot the boyz on the back, but then if the boyz deploy on the ground (or hop off first turn) then you're set to be in range. If all else goes up the wazoo, Tank shock everything till the 40pt odd trukk dies, and hope to blow vehicles up with some ramming, it's actually amusing.

*Ahem*

The Killa Kan's have BS 3 remember so the rokkits on them are more likely to hit then an Ork/Dread, hence the goodness of that idea.

One thing you might consider is dropping a deathkopta from each unit taking them to units of 2, have both units armed with rockets (gets extra rockit in there) and use the extra points to increase the last options for you. So an extra 60 pts then would give you about 210pts to play with. Have you considered a SECOND BATTLEWAGON? It would be most amusing...I don't have my codex on me to fiddle with points but it could be quite fun indeedy.

I will paint all mine Deffkoptas but as you say, I will try how they are working when I got 2 unit with 2 koptas per unit.

About battlewagon, even with 150 pts I can take another one. Nice idea. Thank you very much.

lol, Yeah rokkit theme with rokkits on your back is amusing.

Let us know how the army gets along ingames so we can give more advice on playing it et al.
