With my local GW starting up a necromunda campaign soon and being inspired by the various =I=Munda threads and fire9999's great conversion I've decided to try converting an Escher gang up for it.

Link to Fire9999's thread:
http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/218674.page

Model is a Daemonette torso, legs and upper arms, Glade Guard head, forearms, feet plus a trusty necromunda autopistol. Greenstuff sculpting pretty horrible, shows up in these pics worse than it is tho. Pose is a bit awkward due to me not really considering the chest forward pose of the daemonette till after I had glued the feet on. Still its looking decent enough that I'll continue making up the rest of the gang, forseeing the heavy and the rifle armed ones to be a bit of a problem but will get to that.

On to the pics!

Comments and criticism welcome, as well as any questions!

Thanks

A cult of Slaanesh takes over the underhive. Awesome. Anyway, for the most part the conversion looks natural. I really like the boots on her.

An Entire gang with no underwear is ace in my book!

Looks good, and whilst Fire9999 has greenstuffing skills I could not hope to copy, this is an easy to pull off conversion.

Great work.

Thanks for the comments folks, here is the second one, again still WIP. I'm planning to add a few ammo pouches and such but plan to keep it fairly minimal.

great ideas, but i would make sure to add a nose to the daemonette head.

also, you might want to consider a weapon swap to get a better more "necromunda" looking knife. Are you planning to add headbands, mohawks, and all of the other traditional Escher looks?

Good catch on the Daemonette nose, that head has one its just very slight, have done a little facial surgery to fix it. Hair on the WE heads are a bit off but no too bad, especially of painted in suitably bright colors. None of the escher models I have pictures of have headbands, as far as mohawks go though I've just finished my Heavy with heavy stubber. The swords will stay, I don't have any of the old necromunda ones, and with how small the hands and arms I'm using are they look way to chunky (plus the house escher symbol has similar knives in it).

Anyways heres my heavy, shoulder pads are to hide the horrible shoulder joints (a trick I learned with my Tau!). I know the heavy stubber isnt straight but not sure if its bad enough to try to fix, still thinking at this point.

Let me know what you think.

Love the head (although i would fill in the "hair" a bit to make it look more like hair and not tentacles), and the general pose is good too. The heavy stubber on the other hand is too clearly a bolter with a larger barrel. I think you need to disguise it a bit more, or use another base (Chaos bolter with the trailing ammo belt?).

Looking forward to the next iteration!
