So I have been going over this in my head since the new SM codex came out. I want to do like a raven guard army, but I think I want to paint it White, with Black. The reverse of BT. I want them to look like storm troopers. is this a good idea, or should i do the normal scheme?

that would be cool man. i once got a free 1500pt army of 3rd edition eldar, so i painted them to look like SpaceBalls guards. even modeled there helms to be spheres. that looked really good and clean on them(even the goofy helms) so give it a shot, they would look nice

I've always thought white Space Marines were underrated. However, that might not look very Raven Guardy. What about White Scars?

I like the idea of a white Raven guard varient. just make up some good fluff and you're good to go!

Be careful how close you make them look like storm troopers though, you wouldn't want their BS to drop 1!

You should paint them the way you want to!
