I am trying to write an army list (only 1500 points at this stage) which is as close as I can get to a full harlequin army like I used to have in second edition.

I would like to have two Wraithlords

Three troups of harlequins

I am thinking 2 x rangers squads are the most harlequin-esque troops (dont give a hoot about battlefield effectiveness!)

And I think an Avatar would go nicely with this army

Give me your suggestions or thoughts.

Well in that case, make it 1500 points.

How would you write a harlequin-style army list?

Well, I'd take Yriel as Solitaire and a Farseer as Shadowseer.
Troops could be 2 or 3 full DA squads with shimmer shield and defend, as some kind of Mimes.
Shining Spears could be fielded as Harlequin Jetbikes
