I wanna ask what your armys background is if it has one.
Mine army is called Da Red Gobz

It's lead by big mek goffnob deffsmakka and this is his story:

Goffnob once lead all the tribes on the planet Zakka (Verdil Prime), many times did the imperium try to clense the planet from all that is green, but never did they sucseed.
It was only when the tau game to Zakka that Goffnob faced a real challenge. The battle for Zakka raged on for days, the are was filled with warcrys like : "Waaaagh!!" and for "the greater good".
And after a full two weeks of bloodshed the tau had victory, forcing Goffnob to go to the planet Zork (Arnix 3). Where he heared that the tau had a stronghold on the planet Wahr (Arnix 5)wich lays on the other side of Zakka.
He filled with anger, he was now desperate to get back at the tau and destroy their stronghold so that he could punnisch the tau for what they have done but there was one problem Zakka was in the way of his plan.
Goffnob traveled through the icy plains and burnig mountains of Zork to gather a proper warband planning on raiding the nearby Imperial planets Whuur (Arnix 2), Wazza (Arnix 4) and Zard (Arnix 1).
Only to build a big cannon to blow the only thing in his way ... Zakka.

I hope you like my story and feel free to post yours.

once apon a time there was a weirdboy named Wurrskul. Now Wurrskul wasnt your normal weirdboy, if any of them can be described as such, for he was not only a weirdboy but also a mek.
one day while Wurrskul was out skavenging with his minders a horde of goffs came across his warband and slaughtered every single one. upon Wurrskul's return to the village the goffs were drunk and halfway through eating Wurrskul's favourite squig.
This made him angry.
Very angry.
and in responce Wurrskul let out a rather huge wave of WAAAGH! energy, frying the brains of the goths and infusing the area with WAAAGH! in one move.
Wurrskul turned his attention to his fallen warband, he couldnt believe they all had fallen.
no they DEFFINATLY were still alive, he was sure they were only wounded.
and right on cue they began to get up, already rotting and falling apart but somehow living once more.
thus was the birth of the zombie orks.

my space marine chapter is called umbra proeliator

I have only got a small amount of fluff written so far and here it is.

The umbra proeliator are a chapter founded in M36, althouth the exact date is unknown. they are currently led by chapter master acerbus who has led the chapter for several centuries. the chapter had roughly 600 battle brothers after suffering heavy losses with recent battles with the tau. the chapter is also had odds with the inquiston after agreeing peace with the tau. this resulted in the chapter having to go on a crusade after an inquister was excuted by the captain of the 3rd company.

They have been forced to go on a crusade into tau held space, ordered to give no quater and to bring back sectors under imperial control. after 40 years all contact was suddenly lost, many though they had finally been defeated, succumed to the greater good or been lost in the warp. no one knows what happened but there are tales of entire tau outposts and citites destroyed, the populations slain and buildlings razed. no evidance however had yet been found to make a connection with the umbra proeliator, leading many to believe it could be dark elder raids, although this would be highly unlikely.

Mine isnt totally thought out yet, i just recently changed the fluff after realizing mine was STILL when i played chaos lol. ANYWHO
The Hammerites
The master of the Hammerites, Commander Aydious was originally a 2nd company captain in an unknown legion that was tasked to hunt down and destroy any remnants of chaos in the imperium. Finding strong resistance on planetX( havnt thought of a name yet ) Aydious sent his entire company into the fray to purge the chaos followers. Watching his brothers being murdered down to nearly every man, Aydious went mad with grief and vengeance, tore the hammer arm off of a destroyed dred and began using it as a massive hammer to smash anything in site. Aydious and what was left of his 2nd company finally won the battle and were all awarded medals for their actions.
He was asked shortly after the victory to become the Master of a new chapter, designed specifically to go out on long missions to hunt down chaos cults. Agreeing only if his company could come with him, the Hammerites were founded (again, no clue when yet lol) his former Commander (of un-named chapter) had the dred hammer adorned in gold trim, and made into a most awesome hammer, not only to congratulate Aydious on his promotion, but also as a symbol of his bravery and unending service to the Emperor.

there thats the just of it

"My lord,
I have, as per your request, looked into the history of the Brotherhood. I have been unsuccessful as of yet. All I can tell you is that after coming to the Erebus system and beating back the tau commander O'And'ez (or long shot) they have effectively taken control of the system and are in the process of taking over other systems. While it is commonly mistaken for holy zeal, I feel that there is a darker motive. Unconfirmed rumors have arisen that O'And'ez and Altanis have met on multiple occasions. I have heard also that they have fifteen companies which totally ignores the amount listed by Guilliman in the Codex Astartes. While I have not ,as of yet, found a reason to suspect heresy I fear that they may travel down that path. My reason? I have learned that their primarch was Angron! I was able to obtain a sample of their gene-seed and run a test before they discovered what I had done. They think that I have besmirched their honor. I must go lord even now they hunt me. Please hurry lord Murray the population has become unerringly loyal to them and I fear that only you intervention may end this. Please hurry!"

Hmm...

It's strange really. I've written reams and reams of fluff on our games but not really what my armies are. I have brief descriptions, but that's it:

Ultramarines:

Task Force Galatan, led by 2nd Company Captain Casca Maine. Haven't really thought much beyond that.

444th Cadian Mechanised, actually a combined Cadian/Tallarn/Mordian unit under the over-all Command of a Colonel Abraham of Tallarn. Were the personal army of Inquisitor Lord Dennifus Zentor of the Ordo Malleus until he was (falsley) convicted of Heresy and slain. Thankfully the Ultramarines sent to kill Zentor knew him quite well, and knew he wasn't a traitor, so his army was allowed to live, although came under the strict supervision of Inquisitorix Keira Jade of the Ordo Hereticus, who has made life very difficult for Major Sharpe, a Cadian Officer who runs the day-to-day of the unit (even if Abraham has overall command).

My Chaos Force is a collection of forces under the command of Lord Horatio Lethus, former Ultramarine's 3rd Company Captain and no Daemon Prince of Khorne. Really his story came about by accident. In a tournament that I wrote the plot for a friend of mine was playing Ultramarines and I needed a name. I came up with Horatio Lethus, and left it at that. One of the first games was against another friend's Grey Knight army, and the only way I could justify it was that Lethus thought they Grey Knights were coming for him, so did a pre-emptive attack.

He got more and more paranoid after this that his actions would be found it and tried to start a genocidal war with the Tau to create an alibi. This nearly put the entire Tau Empore and Eastern Fringe into a war, but the Eldar came in to stop it from happening. This was another game we played between my another friend's Eldar and the Ultramarine army. Lethus was killed by the Avatar.

But I decided that, at the next even, I was going to play Lost & The Damned. I needed a commander, so I decided to go with Lethus. I wrote into the background that Lethus was spared from death by Khorne, and rose up, killed the Avatar using the Wailing Doom, which then fused to his wrist, and he ascended to Daemonhood.

He gathered his remaining forces, and began to recruit to build his Lost & The Damned force before eventually attracting World Eater bands and other forces to his side.

This then turned into a bigger plot involving the eventual alliance between Lethus and another Daemon Prine, Ar'nok the Bitter, and that spiraled into a massive story that has so far resulted in around 20 regular games and 8 Apocalypse Games, some of them just to determine the backstory for upcoming games.

My Inquisitorial forces are mixed in there as well, but not nearly as defined.

My Tyranids have no back story. They're just in it for the free food.

Warbosses Spinerippa and Skullthumpa are both genetic offspring of the same ork, growing up together and slaughtering their brothers in a traditional orky way. The big problem was- they weren't able to kill each other. This wasn't out of some brotherly love- they are physically unable to kill each other. They are exactly matched, and neither one has been able to gain the upper hand. This match, however, has allowed them to work together closer than any other two orks. They formed their own warband, Da Rockchompaz, with the understanding that the last one standing would be the warboss uncontested.

This agreement has lasted over ten years and as many planets. Each one swears the other will never make it out of their current battle. They both manage, though, and grow larger for it. Once these twins grow too large, the Imperium may face a Waaugh more powerful than any before...

An industrial world tiered of the Imperial yoke, decides it's much better of without so many imperial wars and declares indepence in the name of the workers and the people. With Krasno free the Korolov must now deal with the enemies within who remain on Krasno, while preparing the fledgling peoples army to push any who would disturb the peoples hard won freedom.

Basicly the Soviet union, but in 40k format, lots of commisars looking to root out enemies of krasno, banners hailing the glory of Krasno and Korolov / denouncing the empire. At least thats what i would do if they give valhalans a plastic set.

The Mithril Fists

Much debate rages about the Primogenitor of the Mithril Fists. Their affinity to archeotech is similiar to the Iron Hands, but their heraldry and name make many believe they are descended from the Imperial Fists. They are tenacious, unorthodox warriors who, while thy believe the Codex Astartes is a valuable work, is less useful when put into practice.

The Master of the Forge of the Mithril Fists is known as the Skysmith. Most believe this is a reference to the strange metal many of the chapter's relics are made of - mithril, or sky silver.

One means the Mechanicum truly loses their gak, and the other means the Eldar realize that Vaul is really a toaster and experience religion fail.

My chapter was created after the first Tyranic war to reinforce the numbers of the Ultramarines. Guilliman initiated a cloning program for the surviving veterans and produced nearly 200 of the cloned Space Marines. However, once the Ultramines were back to full strength, the program was halted by Guilliman. The clone Marines slied into hiding, remote worlds throughout the system of Ultramar became the secret homes of these Space Marines. Since then, all records of the locations and identities of these men have been lost in history. The Cloned Space Marines lie watchfull of their brothers, ready to reveal themselves when the time is right. They have fought many battles with rebel uprisings, Tyranid hordes, Ork Warggghhs! (spelling?) and Tau forces, but their existence remains secred to all but its members.

The Sons of Ultramar - My chapter, a brother chapter of the Ultramines. They were cloned after the first Tyranic war, and after the program was halted, the small number of Space Marines sat watchfu over their brothers, waiting for the right moment to reveal their true identity.

I 2 stories for my Chaos Space Marines, as well as 2 for my Codex Space Marines.

My first Chaos list is strictly Fabius Bile's personal army. After reading some of the Horus Heresy novels I began to love his character. It's a straight Chaos Space Marine List, all of them being Enhanced (1+S, Fearless) some of which are simply converted Imp Guard.

The next list is my Brass Legion army, who I modeled after the Word Bearers. They worship the four Gods equally and use lots of daemons. Just think of LOTS of Marines and Lesser Deamons.

My Space Marines are kind of similar. The first is simply a great alliance of Marines. Since I get bored of painting one scheme rather quickly (damn ADD) I decided to have Blood Angel Assault Squads, Imperial Fist Devestator Squads, White Scar Bikes, Deathwing Termis, Crimson Fist Sternguard, etc. It's quite fun to play with.

The last list is a Dark Angels successor Chapter, unafiliated with the DA though. They work extensivly with Rouge inquisitors and the Inquisition in general. This is my favorite army to casually play because I can play them as Chaos, Dark Angels, or Vanilla Space Marines, and even Deamon Hunters/WItch Hunters based on the game.

Now as to my Orkz, I could fill volumes (and have) .
The basic story is durring the second war for Armageddon,an ork Nob named Fitzzgor( ) rose up and killed the boss of his Big Mob (called the Skullkrushaz),he then went on to gather even more boyz to his banner, becoming a self proclaimed Warlord.
Fitzzgor then began a series of attacks through out Armageddon.
Eventuly,he aquired space hulk and a small fleet (BFG),and spread his WAAAGH to the stars.
He returned to Armageddon for Ghazzies third war,but left shortly after Ghazzie did, searching for greater battles.
Eventuly Fitzzgor joined forces with hundreds of other Ork Bosses and Attacked the Imperial held Scarus sector in what was to be knownas "The Green Kroozade" (any one remember?)
After many months of combat The Green Kroozade had taken several imperial worlds,Fitzzgor establashed a fortress on the forge world of Mordax Prime ( called Mordakka by the Orkz),,then as Fitzzgor and most of his fleet were on route to Leathe 11(called Leathe Lotz) his fleet was caught in a freak warp storm and swept away ( this is my take on my Ork army at the time wich was destroyed in Hurricane Katrina).
The few surviving ships returned to Mordakka were internal combat erupted for controll of the Skullkrushaz, over several years a brutal Nob named Skargut Nokka'ead has risen to comand along with Fitzzgorz "trusted" Mek SnikkFlikk Grubgit ,he "shares" leadership.

Soviet Vostroyans: Desert colors with vostroyan models. Basically Soviets in sapce.

Necrons: I went with an ancient theme. I painted them all brown sandstone colors. Put moss and algae over them. Covered them in Aztec runes and hieroglyphs.
The C'Tan I'm turning into crazy gods with green Stuff. All the green glow rods I'm turning bright blue as well. The story is the C'tan want the sacrifice of lives and blood
to them. They way it was before the necrons became machines. In ancient terran times a C'tan ruled the aztecs and mayans. Demanding Sacrifice and blood.
Eventually the necrons went to sleep when there followers were killed by disease. The Spanish wouldn't follow their beliefs so Necrons waited. When the necrons attacked mars to get to the machine god the necrons on terra received a signal and woke up. All at once they saw the Imperium around them. The monoliths and the entire army began teleporting out to a tombworld. However, not before raising the land immediately around them and taking many humans with them with the new "pariah" gene.

So the entire army is aztec painted, and the monoliths are aztec pyramids.

This is why the Ordomalleus has denied all reinforcments decreeing they willl not deal with a man whom communicates in the same way as deamons aliens and heretics, the idea that where sis knowledge they are not aware off infuriates the inquision. However the atomarines are safe on there homeowrld do to its high radiation. The Netherlands

Well, here's the fluff for my IG and CRM army.
Oh, and imagine the armies like this -> Imperial = WW2 Germany and Heretic =WW2 US Army.

Homecoming
After having crushed a minor heretic incursion in the nearby system of Munichus, the Imperial forces were called back to their homeplanet Lehr by a distress call. From what little the message contained, they understood that the planet was largely under the control of Chaos.
Ignatio Johnus, a former priest at the planet's largest cathedrals, had lured the population into worshipping the gods of Chaos. How he managed that remains a mystery.

Upon nearing Lehr, the Imperial fleet was attacked by heretic spacecraft of an unknown type. The attack was repelled, with only few losses.
The fleet established contact with remaining friendly forces on the surface, and the Fleet Commander designated landing areas. These were planned so that an offensive to retake important strategical points could be retaken. Fortresses, large cities and railway stations were all objectives on the campaign list.

A third of the fleet's armoured companies were deployed in the largely open country of the continent of Nurmandy. One of these, the 124th Panzer Company, would eventually become known as "Der Stahlen Sturm (The Steel Storm)" because of their fast and overwhelming attacks on enemy positions.

Sturm Krieg (Storm War)
The 124th Panzer take great pride in their method of warfare, which they call "Sturm Krieg". The main idea is to unleash punishing amounts of fire on enemy positions while closing in, and not giving the enemy time to regroup by finishing them off right away. This is where the attached mechanized infantry comes in, 143rd Mechanized Heavy Infantry.
It is crucial that all elements of the Imperial Guard present on the battlefield work together in strong cohesion.

The recon teams provide data on enemy positions, so that the Elefants (My Bassies) can deliver their fire where it counts.
If the infantry meets with enemy resistance in strongpoints, they can call in precision bombardments to deal with.

The vehicles of the 124th Panzer and its attached units in a row:- Leman Russes
- Tiger II's (Leman Russes)
- StuG's (Infantry Support Tanks)
- Panthers (Mechanized Artillery)
- Tiger I's (count-as Chimera)
- Jagdpanthers (tank hunters)
- Devilcats (count-as Hellhounds)

And the vehicles of the Renegades which have thus far been encountered:- Leman Russes
- Light Tanks (Shermans)
- C7 "Priests" (Mechanized Artillery)
- Chimera's

Personal Armor
Introduced shorlty after the first conflicts with autogun-armed foes some centuries before, the soldiers of Lehr have been given a large amount of personal armor, such as knee pads, shin plates, elbow and forearm protectors. These are all rounded in shape, so that a hit of a slug is not necessarily the end. Since then, the casualty rate has dropped with the impressive sum of 12%. There are known cases of soldiers surviving an autocannon hit thanks to their armor.
Especially in the cramped confines of trench fighting, the soldiers of Lehr have become much more effective.

The protective gear is not as effective against las weapons, but the heretic forces have converted most las-weapon producing facilities to the production of autoguns, because of the ease of manufacture of these weapons. The heretics are probably willing to sacrifice firepower for greater numbers. The forces of Chaos usually arm women and children, and integrate them into their armies as well. With their current weapon production rate, they will soon be able to..

Months before the un expected warpstorm hit the planet, the last space-port (D6) was destroyed by a large force of eldar from three craft-worlds led by the outcast farseer Mirehn Bielan (the lesser) The blood axes, along with several freebooter warbands, where the only ones to take the portent of all weirdboys heads exploding seriously and gunned there kroozers outsystem just a few days before the warpstorm struck.
They are currently fighting On the planet Triomeda, A small Gamma Class Agri world, Only Inhabited lanet of the system, And the third greatest producer of hone y In the Imperium, And should this world fall, honey prices would go up 50% In the whole of the southeast Imperium, And over 90 chapters of space marines would have to change to jam on their breakfast sandwiches, And the Irritation this would cause has been counted as enough to make 78 space marines more to turn renegade each year.
