Hey,

I suggest thinking about replacing one of your psychic powers with Warptime, possibly the Bolt of Change, if you're planning on putting the Sorcerer in close combat. Firstly it'll enhance his close combat potential, secondly it can be used in close combat, and thirdly it can be used to enhance whatever shooting he does prior to close combat, which is probably best done via the Wind of Chaos. A Combi-Melta will go some way to making up for the lack of a Bolt of Change.

Warptime, Wind of Chaos, and Bolt of Change is also funky, since you can use Warptime in close combat along with the Sorcerer's Force Weapon, but having those two ranged weapon powers will make a Combi-Weapon pretty superfluous, and you won't have the ability to spawnify Independent Characters and Monstrous Creatures.

Having Melta Bombs and a Power Fist is pretty expensive and not really necessary. Likewise Plasma Pistols are expensive and kind of un-necessary - I think you'd do better with Combi-Weapons like Combi-Plasma.

I don't think Noise Marines can have two Blastmasters.

Regarding the Terminators, the Reapers are expensive and I think you'd do better splitting the squad in two since you have the slots. Also, you lack Icons to bring your Terminators and Obliterators down with precision.

thats true but if bolt of change is replaced with warp time the points don't change and i think he's worth around 335 points.i think i can have 2 blastmasters theres a picture on the back of the csm 'dex basides you pay for it.

it doesnt matter if a picture has an icorrect configuration, if it wont let you in the codex, you cant do it.

i suggest you read the latest CSM codex thoroughly, learn what is in there and then come back and propose a new army list. its harder to help you if you dont know whats in your own codex.

and no, HQ sorcerers can no longer have inferno bolts.

yeah,
Iron warriors are kinda hard to do properly in the new codex...
they need lots of terminators/dreads/preditors/obliterators/vindicators/LRs
yet can only have 3 elite and 3 heavy slots

So if you want foot slogging Iron warriors your looking at 3 squads of terminators and 3 squads of obliterators
It helps that terminators can take a LRs as transports.

if you want vehicle heavy ironwarriors army your looking at 3 dreads and 3 vindiactors/preditors/LR....... or a combination somewhere inbetween...


So If i was doing Iron Warriors I'd look at a list starting something like this

HQ
WarSmith
I'd use a converted techmarine counts as Huron Blackhearts.
Using his rules...
he has power claw with built in Heavy flamer---> which could be repressented nicely by a servo-harness claw and a servo harness Heavy flamer.
warptime and a 5+ inv save , power weapon, frag and krak grenades... and is fearless --> all good stuff to show that the dudes equiped x2 CCWs with rerolls... and rock hard...
(the only thing to remember ingame is that he still strikes at I1 due to the power fist... even though he's not currently modeled with one)
if you can be bothered you could even make a little servitor familiar, as a counts as hamadrya to re-enforce the theme that its a huron counts as...

Troops
at least two squads of Chaos marines in rhinos.... maybe three or four squads...

with what's left
Elite
2x terminator squad in LRs
1x Dread

Heavy
2x vindiactors
1x obliterator

anyways that's my thoughts...

Panic's list looks better.
Well, I'd take a Warsmith to lead the army as Panic said.
A few Rhino squads are mandatory for scoring purposes.
The most important part is HS:
Vindicators are a fluffy choice since IW are siege specialists,
and Dreads are also fluffy since they counted in the old ed as HS.

Even though IW typically do not have much fast attack, I recently added some units of Raptors to my IW list to good effect (2x melta + PF champ or 2x flamer + PF champ depending on metagame).

I feel that bikes are mostly poo, and that adding an icon of nurgle to bikes is akin to putting a whipped cream and cherries onto a turd.
