Like what do you mean to cut metal... if you mean like a bar or the arm off a metal mini try a fine hack saw... I believe gale force 9 sells a nice one.
And if you mean just like.. separating the mini from that metal tab that sticks into the base.. use clippers and a file.

If you want to do things like remove heads and arms and so forth, good clippers (NOT GW ones) will do.
If you want to be able to use these parts afterwards, use a razor saw (again, NOT GWs).
GWs tools are overpriced for what they are, and other manufacturers sell superior products for less.

Assuming of course you can find a supplier in your area.
GW's tools will still do the job. Well, maybe not the new model clippers with the black and grey handles. Just glad I have 3 pairs of the yellow ones,

Wow, how long is that avatar going to be around!
This is what I tend to use most. Hacksaw for straight cuts if you don't need one of the parts, Razor type saw for straight cuts if you need both parts, files for removal of details eg unwanted skulls, clippers fo skinny bits and dremel engraving bit for removal of heads.

what everyone has said is deffinetly good to have for metal minis, but also i find have a good dremel and bits are a must as well.(specially for metal) best part is you can buy good dremel kits for pretty cheap now a days. shoot the one i have has a 7 speed transmission on it and came with a whole bunch of grinding and sanding bits for like 20 bucks

I wrecked mine cutting through a zinc die cast model.
Get a jeweller's saw for serious cutting.
