The razordon looks better than I was afraid it would. But are those terradons really new?

Terradons are definitely new. Wing span is much wider and less swept. Tails are longer too I think. Though I'm slightly perturb by the Saurus rider. Guess that must be the spesh character.

Agree about the Razordons. They actually look quite cool.

minis look great, and the painting looks great. I agree the Saurus guy is a little weird but OK.

Taco Bell of Lost Souls? Is that some sort of product placement? Granted, I eat there most likely more than is good for me so I really can't complain.

It looks like the Stegodon has variant heads. Different mouth positions, different horn configurations on there. That's awesome.

I'm gonna buy one, a stack of textured plasticard(diamond plate steel, corrugated steel, ect) and remove the aztec looking symbols, add plasticard, and presto blamo i have a squiggoth for 40k. oh and i'll have to add guns, and exhaust tubes somewhere.

I am buying especially since thier plastics. I have recently converted to all plastics and now detest metal figures.

So, is that the way the Skinks and Krox are going to rank up? Will the Krox get a penalty for being in the second row or no penalty? Never played them back in the day, so no idea how it looked or worked. But, I like the way they rank up. Looks kinda cool.

My guess is that they will have some sort of mixed rules making skinks take missile/magic fire and kroxis charging to the front in combat ala beastment.

Ah yes, one of the GW classic game mechanics... allowing giant monsters to shelter behind creatures a fraction of their size. See also Hive Tyrants/Tyrant Guard and 3rd Edition Gretchin giving a cover save to Ork Boyz behind them. Actually, this now works for everything in 5th doesn't it? :S

Yuck. That razordon is awful, the stegadons look really bad, and the terradon is goofy.
Kroxigor look better than they used to. But no, not impressed here at all.

I used to run this unit all the time and it was freaking awesome! I had originally thought GW got rid of them because they were alot more effective then saurus in many cases. Wow, kroxigors with a rank bonus and outnumber, wonder if you can give the skinks a command like back in the day? Be good to have a use for my old skink command models...

@Flashman back in the day the kroxigors could attack and be attacked over the front rank of skink with no pennalty.

Krox-in-a-Box != suck

Someone on TauOnline snapped some nice pictures of new Lizardmen, 40K Orks, plus some of Gav Thorpe who looks like a microcephalic. There is a lot of good stuff there.

And still, I must ask - does anyone know if there will be a Southlands list with Shortbow skinks in the new book? Not guesses or conjectures - but folks that have seen the book and can confirm or deny this.

Oh my, I cannot WAIT until February.
