Painting is all done now. Enjoy.

Man, that's the joy of Anime! To revel in the complete and utter wastefullness of making an unstoppable nuclear-powered combat andriod in the shape of a cute little girl, who has the ability to fall in love and wears an enormous bow in her hair.

Wow, those are painted incredibly well good job. And I like the models its something different that what you see normally. And i especially like the Salamanders Character as I am starting one and your model has given me ideas on stuff to add to my marines.

Nice paint jobs, the salamander is awesome! However, all you did was stick elf heads on stock (for the most part) marine bodies. You say they are female, but they could just be especially effeminate dudes. Show some leg girls!

It may be more that everyone realizes that argument is beating a dead horse and doesn't feel like going through it again.

At least until after the holidays.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

What are you talking about? They're Space Marines, which are heroic. They need to be able to do all the heroic stuff. They fight aliens and don't afraid of anything. -Orkeosarus

I think they look great. The only thing that I don't like is the heads with the smooth helms, they need something on them, they kind of look like the gay hat magneto used to rock, (only less detailed).

My favs are the tech marine, and the Imperial Fist. Nicely painted except for the heads, I'm just having a problem with how boring they look.

Lookin Sweet. I really like the fading/contrast on the dark angel and the ultra marine. I also like the cloth everywhere it appears. Very nice shadow and still keeping the cloth looking smooth.

My one critique on the white armor : There is not enough dark in the recesses, joints cracks, etc. It kind of fades together.

Sorry guys, gotta disagree w/ everyone.
Adverage looking conversions with a paint job that runs from adverage to decent.
Just not a fan of she-male Marines.

But it sure isn't a diorama.

Couldn't people post constructive comments?

The diorama looks great, excellent painting and the conversions (which I was initially skeptical of) came out great when painted.

the fact that they still look a lil bit like marines with womens heads is kindda bugging me. but only slightly now. somehow painting them REALLY brought the minis to life. sure i could nit pick about what i said previously, but in all honesty i give you props they really turned out nicely.

Newsflash Phidias. This isn't a diorama. This is a line up of very nicely painted minis.

You'll do well to avoid saying that part in public.

Great work Thunder, good to see you get it out of your system.
Miss October (Ultra Marlene's Chapter) one of the better jobs, IMO.
