I've just put up a couple of minor updates that had been sitting in the background for a while. If you didnt already notice, 'skip to first unread' now works on 'my subscribed threads' and I've added 'My Viewed Threads' so if you are logged in you can see the status of every single thread you have ever viewed.

The multiquote bug (using multiquote twice on the same thread would not remove the old quotes) is now fixed, so multiquote should work perfectly now.

There is an automated thread necromancy warning in place now, so new users will get a warning before adding comments like 'wow' to ancient threads.

A warning will popup if you try and type without any uppercase letters as a way to help cut down on the IM-style typing that seems to pop up from new users once in a while. This will force people to use a bit more punctuation and make things a bit more readable hopefully.

Other than that it is just a bunch of bug fixes behind the scenes. An update to the outstanding gallery issues will be coming in the next couple of weeks.

Enjoy!

oh and you can also unsubscribe from threads in 'my subscribed threads' easily too. I've also just noticed a bug that I need to fix with post previews/double click editing so I'll just put that fix up now as it was a last minute glitch. Prepare for dakka to go down in about 15 minutes for about 30 seconds again!

It is nice that this community values proper English rather than the Bad English of the rest of the web.

I just tested the pop-up for necromancy. +++. Well done, sir.

You realize you'll now have gazillion people reviving old threads just to see what the warning looks like

When I posted a link, the message popped up and I wanted to type tl;dr as a response.

That system message is huge!

Do you mean the all lowercase popup appeared when you just put in an URL as a response to a comment? The popups are quite big as it needs to explain the concepts to people unfamiliar with the issues, and will also appear less hypocritical than a short 'your message needs to be better written' sort of thing.
