I'm curious what people have for Superheavies and Apoc formations in their army. Also what they have on the planning board to do.

I will be fielding 2 Baneblade-class Superheavies, but haven't decided on the final configs until I see the details of the new Shadowsword kit coming out.

I'll be getting a few Stompas, and I'm converting a Baneblade and Battlewagon into a Skullhamma Battlefortress. If it goes well, I might do a second one.

-maybe veteran company fieldable but not tried.

-2x - 3x predator squads


Plans:

-add the new shadowsword kit and maybe all variants (stormlord )

-build an ARV for my super-heavy tanks

-add some AA-defense (Hydras)

-redo the guard to mech inf if possible

-add aircav (valks)

I always thought the Termie Annihilation Force + Recon Force would be fun, if the Command Sentinel could be preserved:
Orbitally bombard and deepstrike the Termies (4 squads of 10, + Lord) on one objective; once all the enemies there are wiped out, use the Recon force to relocate a bunch of plague marines and/or Obliterators to hold that objective while moving the Termies across the board to threaten a second objective.

I've never played Apoc, but in every game of 40k that I use my Ultramarines, I use a Linebreaker Squadron.
