I have never had a problem with Dave, but seemingly he has one with me. as such he has said on one of galorn's threads that he's put me on his "Ignore List".
I will not apologise for my sense of humour or for who I am, there's no point, as I am who I am and you either like me or not... a bit like marmite really I have been attempting to refrain from commenting on his threads to make the situation worse, but with my comment the other day on galorns thread he seemingly
couldn't understand people are entitled to his opinion, and that Although I liked the overall feel of Galorns trench board, I just didn't like the trench pattern, as it didn't
match any that I have seen in existence (been researching for a trench board of my own). Am I not allowed to dislike something these days? I'm sorry but the sole
purpose of Dakka is not to sing the praises of things/people when thats not what you mean, I won't be fake, as most of you know. I didn't appreciate the message

Well it made more sense this way tbh, that way I keep track of it in ever stage it goes through as well.
The "pattern" of trenches was kinda hap hazard on my part TBH not sure what horked off dave but feel free to continue posting on My threads any hoo. AS for building your own trenchworks board GO FOR IT. its alot of work to get them looking good, but it's very rewarding.

Thats cool dude, apologies that whatever problems spilt over into your thread, thats my main worry, I really don't want people to feel awkward or be forced to make sides in something that should either just be forgotten about, or dealt with privately.
anywho, I do honestly love your Trench boards, especially all the little details and the obvious amount of time you've put into it. The only reason I commented about the networks themselves is my OCD tendency to want everything to make sense (in hindsight I could have worded it better but I was running on a couple of hours sleep lols so apologies)

Just stopped by Galorn's... very nice trenches, albeit as you said, they're non-historical/conforming. But the overall board looks awesome, and I'd pay to play on that thing! GALORN!! DO YOU HEAR ME!??! I would PAAAAY YOU!! Most of all, I like that he's working outside on something so huge, then see it get done bit by bit. At some point, I'd love to have the space to do the same...
LOL... and this is pretty sweet too- I like how your thread has several different subject matters- 'nids, Inqs, etc. Flavor of the day, everyday, and all done very well.
I'm jealous of that flying tyrant. Even your GS backvents and armor look "natural". Painted, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between conversion and actual grey plastic. Keep up the good work- I got back into painting/modelling with 'nids after a decade-long hiatus, so they hold a particularly special place in my heart.

Meh Happens hazard of the Internets. I was initially planning on doing the zigzag style of trenchline, but just had a hard time getting a layout that would "play well" in my head to work and so.... 90 degree angles it was...

Well this is my attempt a a Nid army after being involved with the hobby for 4 editions, and 2 failed starting attempts to get these guys moving... finally it's all moving forward... I think
Also... I may have to do a variant of flyrant "bob" as I'm considering a ruleset (for the Calliope IA style book this is all part of) which is like an genetic randomisation due to an event which will happen in the story.
but nothing is solid yet except the rules I have planed for the "Mechadendrites" and "Explorator harness" (although they do need play testing)

That I can understand, I went through several drafts for the redoubts as it's a sodding pain to get them to fit and work properly on a modular board too, as I want to keep the realm of battle feel to the tiles.

bob.... now that is somehow a very fitting name... in a weird sense of fitting...
i like the model ...the yucky tongue, the endless long tail... and of course the sculpted carpace... how you get it done that way is a mystery to me...
as for the dave childe issue... i think i should keep my mouth shut... it is like sitting now between two chairs... i consider both of you friends and this is kinda hard to steer to such shallow waters...

Now Bob where to start the green against grey does not work the layout makes no sense, I have never seen armour that design before whats the point to it, why does a living bug have vents ridiculous
No only joking I hate to have to say it but it looks really great OK I said ti there, the detail is spot on the scale armour matches up almost seamlessly and thanks for sharing it before its finished
I think I even could be tempted to get into these little fethers now
