As far as i'm aware, yes, it's the same size. Comes with both hammer and spear options, too! Which I didn't realise. Nice touch.

Brings me to just shy of 800 points for both Dunharrow and Moria.

It is the same size, and has the option for a hammer or a spear (I've got that troll from the old Mines of Moria starter, from back when dinosaurs ruled the earth ).

I got two Conquest starter sets (ea w/ 2 free bonus boxes). Also bought 2 each of all the 40k and AoS Battleforces (except the Ork one, which I have no need for, and the AdMech one which is delayed into next year). Also picked up 2 SW Armada starter sets (making it 4 total since I started with the game) since I was having trouble finding victories at a decent price and I could always use more Nebulon Bs and Corellian Corvettes.

Picked up one of the old 40k large templates - the one with the silver admech like ring & blue energy throughout the center.
I'm going to cut it up & use it as part of a Drukhari vortex missile battery fortification.

Two packs of Battle Ready Bases by Gamers Grass to finish off a pair of D&D figs.
25mm winter & 25mm broken cobblestone.

My initial thought was to base the minis on cobblestone as that'd be very thematic for the adventure.
Now I could make such bases myself. But seeing as I was going to be at a shop that sells exactly this today....
Then I saw the winter bases.
I Couldn't decide wich I liked better, so I got them both. They'll all get used eventually.

Dragon Castle (a board game).
3 different cyborgs from Urban Mammoth's Urban War line for use in Stargrave.
Astreia Solbright. [Wanted her, and since she's been discontinued, thought I'd better buy her now. The others I saw for sale had already been marked up.]

From Barnes and Noble, Bladeborn. It is Warcry light as a board game. So a hex grid, and no vertical movement. Otherwise, it is similar, even including a campaign system. Abilities activate off of doubles and triples, as the Wild dice have been removed. The simplicity is mainly any choice has been removed: everything is fixed.
Also included are cards for four other Warhammer Underworlds "teams" like The Eyes of the Nine, and there is a separate rules inset that gives Warcry stats and abilities for all six war bands. They each play as their own faction, not as their components would suggest. Thus the Beastman team uses its own ability card, not that of Beasts of Chaos as one might expect. Normally, the Eyes of the Nine would not be a legal team in Warcry as it mixes mortal and demonic Tzeetchians, but GW has made it its own faction with its own abilities.
While I may never play Bladeborn itself, I wanted the figures and it was cheaper buying them this way. And, hey, maybe I will play this as a board game. Quicker set up and tear down than standard War Cry.

A dude at work wanted to practice CAD stuff for his 3D printer and I half jokingly told him I'd buy 40mm ogre bases if he can make them in the same dimensions. Well, we work in a machine shop. He came over to my locker with some digital calipers and got the exact dimensional data from one of my models. The 5 he handed me today were the free test run, and I now have options to order as many as I need as well as an offer to have the program if I wind up getting a printer of my own.

A couple of days ago I ordered a 1:144 scale WACO glider for my WWII Flames of War Americans.

All the other planes are 1:44 so I didn't really think about it. Later on though I decided it'd probably be too small if actually on the table - you know, after it lands/crashes & the plt disembarks.
Figured I see in a few days....

The kit that arrived? Nice model, but yes, definitely too small to represent a landed glider. I'll have to track down another one at 1:100 scale.
I'll still build & paint this one up though.
