I remember watching the first one on Top op The Pops 2 and reading it was made by the guy who founded KLF.
Got to love seeing the guys feet out the bottom of the Dalek!

Actually back then the big corporations still existed and ran the mainstream market. Nothing has changed, many dance labels are still run in a very independent and small scale and the big labels still run the mainstream market. Whether you prefer music from back then is another issue. Quit calling music you don't like crap, if anything your only showing you have a very limited and un-open knowledge of music. Anyway thats' my 2 cents, I only get annoyed because I do dabble in club promotion and we have about five crates full of vinyl from the last ten years, a very small number of which I can actually say are distributed by, or by sub-labels of, major corporations.
Anyway, on the old skool vibe...
brrrap!

-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

KLF were great. I had a narrow miss 'encounter' with them. I joined Regia Anglorum the week after they did the What Time Is Love video with KLF. I was and still am gutted, I would have stuck it out to the end in the water tank playing air guitar with my dane axe in full viking gear, not many from Regia astayed for the full shoot because it was damn cold, but I am cold resistant and well crazy enough to do.

I have the funk real bad and two names to me always stand out, one old, one newer:
Earth Wind & Fire - Homage is due.
Jamiroquai - JK may be an ass but his music is great.

Anyway another one from the genre to get Dakka moving:

It's better to simply be an idiot, as no one can call you on it here. -H.B.M.C.
Cap'n Gordino's instant grammar guide:
"This is TOO expensive." "I'm going TO the store, TO get some stuff."
"That is THEIR stuff." "THEY'RE crappy converters."
"I put it over THERE." "I'll go to the store THEN."
"He knows better THAN that." "This is NEW." "Most players KNEW that."
I wonder if 'music' links like that are a form of trolling.
