I recently looked at the new Lizardboyz army book. I flipped over to the special characters and couldn't help but notice that all their mounts are named after the Dinobots. There's Swoop (Tiq'taq'to's Teradon I believe), Grim'loq(Grimlock. Kroq'gar's Carnesaur), and a few others. Anyone else notice this?

no probs
but it does seem they are running low on decent names
tiq'taq'to hardly sounds like a great character, sounds like someone making up names for a fun army

I'm saying, EXCUUUSE ME for not knowing. I'm not a Lizardboyz fanatic like some people are (not saying names or pointing fingers).
I don't spend my days on Wikipedia and this is for a good reason. Wikipedia is one of the worst sources of info on the net. I could go in and write "Benito Mousalini was born on the 4th of July, 1922 and died on the 1st of April, 1984." It just gets that bad.

yeah they have Grimlock, Swoop and Slag (with spelling variations).
The dinos in question are even similar to the dinosaur forms of the coresponding dinobots.
Personally I think its too silly.

Hell, with some heavy coverting, you could make the Dinobots.
Just grab some Dreadnoughts, put heads on them, and then go crazy.

Benito Mussolini. You could, at least, have checked the spelling on Wikipedia.

I don't know, I always took it as an amusing in-joke aimed at gamers of a certain age. I personally miss things like this and wished GW would put in more humorous stuff these days.
I can't remember the name but there used to be a DoW regiment of Skink riders whose battle cry (When read out loud) was 'two pints of lager and a packet of crisps please'. This was before the rather chavy (yet occasionally amusing) sitcom sullied that phrase.
