This is my first list for fantasy outside my daemon list

Vampire Lord: Book of Arkhan, lvl 3 wizard, Crownd of the Damned, Helm of Commandment, Beguile, Dread Knight, Forbidden Lore, Summon Ghouls

Vampire: Balefire Spike, Black Periapt, Dispel Scroll, Dread Knight, Summon Ghouls

Vampire: Flayed Hauberk, Dispel Scroll, Ghoulkin, Summon Ghouls

Wight King: Great Weapon, BSB Drakenhof Banner

Corpse Cart: Balefire

10 Ghouls: Ghast

10 Ghouls: Ghast

Varghulf

The idea of the army gonna be corpse cart surrounded by ghouls, general with black knights screened by wolves gonna flank stuffs . Varghulf also goes to flank, screened by wolves. Ghouls gonna be increased most of the time, with zombie raising. On Foot vampire gonna join ghouls and support corpse cart and the ghouls.

What do you guyz think about this list? I don't know how to play VC, but this is the first list I can come up with. C&C welcome!!! thx

If your general is off flanking things then the book may be better off with one of the vampires on foot. Who are with a unit that you could dance up further. Other wise you may have a limited number of units to use the book on.

Where is second mounted vampire going? You may want to keep it close to the ghouls as well and may want to use avatar of death instead of dread knight. Unless you want it mounted for a reason.

Being mounted increases his armor save and gives him a means of getting around if he decides that unit is no longer the place to be.

I can't offer too many other suggestions, I use big blocks of zombies and skellies and black knights.

The interweb lists consider ghouls to be good troops because of their higher weapon skill and the actual ability to do damage in hth.

I think you would do ok against most lists with this. You have a lot more killy stuff than I run, so maybe I'll have to give a list like this a try sometime.

The model count is fairly small for 2000+ but since your plan is probobly to use the first turn or two fixing that ...
