Well, since everyone wanted to see the army as a whole, here it is! I've posted some of these pics before, but I figured no one would cry if they showed up again.

This is the entire 1,000 point army for the Adepticon Team Tournament. I am on team "Never trust a Tau with a Krootox farm."

I like the Stealth the best, but then I'm partial to a nice glossy black.

My god that is easily the cleanest painted Tau army Ive ever seen. I really like your stealth suits too. Nice way to accent them in your army. Good luck out there! At least youll have the nicest looking Tau army. Id put money on that

Thanks so much for the kind words guys, it really means a lot. I've been working on them for some time now, all that lining isn't the quickest thing to do. I see the stealth suits are the fan favorites, lol! I just never liked the way GW painted them, I figured if they are trying to blend in, they wouldn't have huge armor plates colored shadow grey. So I'm pretty happy with how they turned out, and it seems like I made a good choice.

Well, I've never done an army profile before, but I think I can make that happen after I get back from Adepticon. Suppose I'll have to think of some fluff for them...

wow those models are beautiful. I realy love the stealthsuits. I am not normally a Tau fan but these are very nicely done.

One problem though, and I hate to say this - is that your army is not legal.. why? I see you have one HQ namely an Ethereal, though the codex states that you have to have at least one Battlesuit Commander ('El/'O) as your HQ.. I could be wrong but IIRC the codex said a Battlesuit Commander was 1+..

Nice to see another completed Tau force, nice paintwork and I like the colour scheme.

I think that the standard GW colour scheme on Tau is overdone by to many people.

Actually, he's right. And I don't see any suits besides those broadsides...

Looks good, though, although I'm a fan of uniform bases and the Kroot having different bases kinda bugs me.

Yup, normally that would be the case, but for the Adepticon Team Tournament the mandatory restrictions are removed. No one else on my team wanted to take an ethereal, so I thought i'd throw him in there for fun. But the first thing I'll be adding after Adepticon will be a battlesuit commander to make it legal.

Here are a few pics of the burning battlesuit objective marker. As you can see, my "missing" Tau Commander is simly shot down behind enemy lines!

I'm loving the paint job. It's so crisp. The stealth suits look AWESOME! The objective marker is pretty sweet as well. Is that steel wool or regular cotton balls that are stretched?
