What is the best wargear for BA Termies?

Thunder Hammer Terms are absolutely brutal to get rid of. If they can fit a useful role in your list, they're the best value.

All Terminators are a good value in the BA list, so you can't go too far wrong, and the same advice that holds for vanilla Marines will hold for the BA version.

The TH version seems most popular from what I've seen, and I've got in game experiece how hard they are.

Also, it's generally in your best interest to min-size your BA Term squads, since each one is a free DC Marine. People usually do this anyway, but it's worth keeping in mind.

Also points you somewhat towards normal Land Raiders, as you won't use the full capacity of a Crusader, and you can use the tank killing of TL-Lascannons (altho a Multi-Melta is no joke either).

I must second Thunder Hammers, as an xeno [tyranid, orks, eldar] i fear it heaps.

I must say dual lighting claws are also brutal

If you're taking a Corbulo list, I'd say three LC/two Thunder Hammers. You'll want to maximize the FC you get from corbulo, but you don't want to get stuck in CC with something like a wraithlord with no S8 weapons.

Alright. I'll take 3 Dual LC/Dual TH Termies. That seems the most versatile.

Busy somewhere, airin' out the skin jobs.

Be aware that VANILLA marine T-Hammer Terminators are the BRUTAL and RESILIANT ones.

T-hammer terminators havent all of a sudden become the best build for Blood Angels. While good, they are MUCH more vulnerable than Vanilla Marines...you dont have the 3++ save.

I would say lightning claw terminators are actually better for blood angels....especilly if they wind up with furius charge. Now THATS a devestating charge...and it beats out Blood Angel T-hammers all day long...I wouldnt do ANY TH/SS terminators if you were planning on using furious charge.

I have never failed to seize on 4+ in my life!

The problem is you do want some thunderhammers, even if its not the 3++ save, simply so if you do happen to get bogged down agaibst a dreadnought/carnifex/wraithlord you can do something about it.

Also S9 Thunderhammers on the charge are nice too

i would mix it up a bit.
take 3 LC termies and 2 TH termies.
throw a libby in termie armour into the unit.
use might of heroes on a thunder hammer termie to give him D3 extra attacks.
(give the attacks to the libby if your fex / MC hunting)

Depends on the enemy most likely to be fought.

That's true. SoB, Tau, Eldar, Nurgle CSM, SM, and Nids are common where I play.

BA terminators don't get 3+ INV Storm Shields, so they aren't as much of a no brainer as vanilla termies. However, with Corbulo and Dante, LC's are very nasty.

Okay... so you're looking at a good mix. Nurgle means those TH/SS will get some use, same with tyranids and those damned monstrous creatures.
Tau and SM means (conceivably) you'll be working against effective shooting armies. Not sure how CSM and SoB would really match up.

If it's a BA Terminator squad, 2 TH/SS 3 LC?

Really doesn't matter overmuch, so long as you don't get blasted to bits under sheer weight of fire before you get to the enemy.
Looked into an LR of some sort/function yet?

the army type your fighting also gives some problems

what to take against ork?
you will be getting hit by bucket loads of attacks (including some from klaws)
but the LC's give you more attacks

against meq i would prefer LC's.
more attacks, they dont need to be high Str, i rather hit 1st and get rid of a few marines

True, but there are no orks where I play. (Unless it's one of my own armies)
