After seeing the cover to Metallica's 'Load' album, and reading the story behind it, I wondered, why not do something like this with minis.

So, why not start with Khorne. I figure, the best way to channel the Blood God's power into my games is to offer up a sacrifice while painting.

Start with a clean pin. I sterilized mine with a lighter.

And simply prick yourself in the finger:

Then squeeze a couple of drops into the properly named 'Blood Red' pot:

TaDa, you get a really brilliant red out of it:

I've also used this approach with some nurgle daemons (urine - which, unless you're really sick, is actually a sterile fluid), and my slaanesh daemonettes (semen), as seen in my army profile. I'm really not sure what to use to channel Tzeentch though. Perhaps some burnt hair, that's always been a magic item.
