It's because this forum has been compromised, and it's pointless to discuss any kind of strategy here.

The problem isn't actually that the forum is compromised, its that Caiger mall is a huge target for the zeds. So it makes any real effort look abortive.

This assumes that we were the only group planning something for the 28th. It could be that another group's forums might be compromised. We won't know unless we try to organize something else.

But in seriousness, I think you're both right: Caiger's too hot and the thread probably 'compromised'. The chances that the 28th thing was referring to something else is unlikely IMHO.

But IIRC the guy that (publicly) found the group was a Caiger resistance, not zombie, fella, and was met was met with relative hostility - but that doesn't explain how the Zeds know.

Maybe we could go back to that mansion, move to a different suburb or forum [area?], or even link up with others to try for Caiger again?

The thread being compromised was an inevitable consequence of not using a member-only board. Even though we are a small group, we are obviously relevant enough to rate on Zack's radar. If we want to plan anything of tactical relevance, we'll have to resort to PMs -- which is extremely burdensome. Or we could set up a member-only board. The question is, do we really want to do anything of tactical relevance? Before the 8/28 plan, we were just doing whatever, loosely coinciding. It's not as demanding but it's also not as exciting. So there's a real choice. In the meantime, I think it's safe to say that Zack is checking in on us here one way or another.

I'd be down for a members only board or whatever, because really, the only enjoyment I am currently getting is hunting down Death Cultists and what have you. Throwing a little extra spice on there by trying to accomplish specific things would be cool, but is seemingly a waste of time when everyone and their undead, brain hungry mother can read what we are saying.

Yeah, like Bromsy, I'd rather we actually did stuff of 'tactical relevance'.
I'm quite happy for my alt's to go round just doing stuff, but I'd like to try and contribute and change things with one of my characters and I'd much rather it was with ye Dakkanauts - so yes, I'd rather we stayed organised and did 'significant' things, personally.


A really harsh truth is that most of the Urban Dead'ers are DCM's, I think...

Bromsy is a huge exception to that.
