Dakka is a great forum for 40k, but isnt it a bit lacking for Fantasy discussion?

Where are some really good boards for fantasy? Ones with a healthy compliment of tournement going posters?

Warseer has a few bright lights, but they are like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Pretty much, if not worse.

Warhammer has more sacrificial type tactics than 40k, and too many on Warseer demand to be able to win with a minimum of casualties, thus the second you mention sacrificial units, you get bawled out.

more people play 40k as well. And here we have malf, Waaagh, Cypher, uh ... everyone else. Ozy, whitedragon, etc, etc.

This is a good board for Fantasy there is just not as much to talk about. And do not forget Fantasy makes it into Discussion and News & Rumours.

Warseer is supposed to have a good fantasy section, just don't say anything intelligent or somewhat confrontational, because the mods like to ban people for non-offences -Glares at one nameless Warseer Mod-

Hmmm.....? I honestly have found nothing even pertaining to a fantasy forum in my various internet searches. I honestly don't think there's a site for fantasy. Someone should make one.

Most Warhammer sites seem to be organized by race, i.e. Empire players visit Warhammer-Empire, High Elf players use Ulthuan.net, Dwarf players use Bugman's Brewery, etc. There seems to be no "hub" site for WHFB discussion, beyond the occasional Warseer/Dakka outing.

What about Direwolf? Is it still around?

I'd second TWF for WFB - it's probably the best-known WFB forum I can think of.

I have heard Direwolf is pretty hot for the disussion of fantasy.

I'll third TWF, I'm over there for fantasy and nothing else. There's rules and whatever discussion, but loads of square base modeling and some of the finest fantasy tournament batreps around.
