I think the music was great. It just needs to be done in something better than a 12k sampling rate... Yeesh.

So correct me if I'm wrong but is this basically gorkamorka with more heavy support slots and all races able to participate?

They've made plastics in the past that cannot be told apart from their original metal counterparts.

It is an expansion, like Apoc and Cities of Death. New rules and missions for existing armies to fight planetary assault missions. It expands on the basic rules and stands seperate from Apoc and Cities of Death.

The upcoming planetary empires sounds cool. Too bad map based campaigns are difficult to coordinate in the long term.

In the end, it's all about who has the most territories, the most wins and who can shout the hardest.

Well, I thought it was about who was baldest and could shake their fist the longest ... guess I was wrong.
I kinda like the vid. The new terrain sure looks awesome.

They suffer from the same problem as marvels event promos though. They're advertising static models/images so all they have to hype us up is artwork and mockups of battles.

It's hard to make something look exciting using that (probably why they threw in a little DoW footage for good measure)

So, it looks like a Bastion kit that can be expanded upon to make an outpost... and a Defence Laser kit that can be expanded upon to make a fortress.

Is this what you can see?

I'm also looking at the BoLS pics of the book pages as well...

Along with the baricades and landing pad of course.

As with CoD, I'll be scratchbuilding most of the scenery anyway.

Well, that and using cheap alternatives (Platformer and Pegasus Gothic baby!).

Not sure about the Vulkan mini, but that may be the fault of Vulkan's rules i.e. too much Wargear. Paintjob is far too bright and cheery too.

the name of Planetstrike seems interesting since view a preview by GW. i wounder how it works.
