Anyone know of any modelling putty which you can sculpt a decent amount of detail with (i.e. not pva glue, water effects stuff) yet dries clear?

I've never heard of any. An alternative might be to sculpt your model, and then cast it in clear resin.

No such animal.

There are clear resins, but no transparent putties.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

Argh, thats no good to me. Ok, ty for help. Resin casting is too much hassle for what i want, which was just a simple flame effect.

best bet is to cast it in clear resin...

Too many armies to count now.. mainly all 40k and AoS

There's a sculpey which is supposedly translucent. I've never managed to get it to come out anything other than a kind of crappy semi-opaque yellow.
