today the 5 russes arrived , but no instruction booklet !

Was planning on assembling the main body ( minus the turret and sponson , waiting for new kit )

Anyone have scanned instructions? Thanks D:

It's a tank. It isn't exactly hard to put together. Just look the picture on the back of the box, which is usually of the actual model or has mini-instructions.

Scanned? No, what is "scanned"?

Actually, it's not so hard to build (I've made several):

1. Start with the track plates, saving the actual tracks for after the plates and wheels are glued solid. If you make these first, you can set them on glass, so they'll glue up solid & square.

2. Then do the central hull. I usually scratchbuild conversion for this, but I think it's a simple 2-piece top & bottom affair. Again, set the tank on glass so the hull glues up square.

3. Now do the Turret and Hull gun - should be simple. I usually scratchbuild for these, but the Turret parts only go together one way.

4. Sponsons, if you must. I think the tank looks better without them, and put doors on. My Demolishers run side skirts to represent AV13.

5. Now, go ahead and do the tracks, starting at the front, going over the top to the back, then down to the bottom, before finishing with the bottom tracks. This way, any gap will be invisible on the bottom of the tank.

5a. Alternately, if using Track Guards, start at the bottom, and build around to finish under the Guards to hide any gap.

6. Details and done!

@Gwar! They are from a trade , all new on sprue and everything , just no instructions lol

regarding sig / avatar. I like playing with photo shop i like to color things. Every time i make something im happy with turns into my sig /avatar.

@ JHDD , scan i meant if someone is to keep track of instruction booklet digitally they would probably either scan it into picture form
or take a photo of it?

Also i seriously perfer not to make it without instructions ( for example my IG vehicles have SM tracks , and my Rhino have IG tracks , but god bless it actually fits )
and the bits are usually all glued in wrong places ( since i have no idea what they are )

The new Russ varient kits will only effect the turret (cannon)
and sponson weapons right?

The main body is still the same?

yea thats right only diffrence between demolisher and normal is the turrent side sponson body same tho so

Most likely, knowing GW however they will make it that you have to buy a new Hull to fit the variants on because they are money grabbing gits.

they mostly give you a hull same but on fw they have the variant tureets and sponsons for ridiculous money instead

Doh! Sorry about that, Luna - forgot to put them in. But as raven322 posted, GW's online tutorial for building Russes is actually quite a bit better than their printed instructions.

Yay! not in a rush though ( i should be able to assemble the rest from comparing with completed tanks )
The tracks im having trouble with because i cant see the inside. I should be ok without a scan , just need to know
the track is made out of 3 different cylinders , bunch of small ones , a medium one , and a large one. Need to know where the largest one fits in xD

I have built quite a few of those.

Easiest way is:
1. glue wheels to inside plate, glue outside plate, making sandwich
2. glue lower hull to inside plates, set on glass to dry square
3. build upper hull, set on glass to dry square
4. attach guns, etc.

The biggest wheel goes in the very back. The small wheels fill all of the remaining spots.
