My first Ironclad Dreadnought!

Converted from a black reach dread, this brother is now equipped to drop pod into the thick of the enemy and smash them to pieces!

Lots of little conversions going on here, the legs have been repositioned and cables reconnected. HK missile Launcher on top. Extra armour everywhere. Custom Seismic Hammer with built in melta. extended open sarcophagus. Stamping on an Ork Nob.

hope you like!

It is a very nice conversion but this is not a tutorial so I'm moving this thread to the basic Painting and Modeling forum.

I think it's nice, and the upside down arm doesn't really bother me... but you REALLY REALLY should remove that upside down skull & crossbones from it, at the very least.

The cybot looks great! Very brutal!

Why do you "complain"(no offense) about the arm being upside down? If the cybot turns his arm this way, it has to be like this, I think...

i love all of it excep tthe big ass ccw thing

it just looks a lil to chunky and unwieldly for my liking

The Imperium of Man is able to traverse the Warp with difficulty when their Emperor concentrates from his golden life support machine and lights the way. Unfortunately, because the Emperor has the attention span of the average 5-year-old Pokemon fanboy, this means that many an unfortunate Imperial ship has had the WTF WHERE'D THE LIGHTS GO experience, which in the Warp is invariably fatal.

I think the seismic hammer is freaking sweet, and I really like the mechanicus feel you've given it.

I think is just a bad ass dred. Plain and simple. Clever work and it looks really nice to boot!

If the part with the upside down skull is the hammer, wouldn't that make it currently the right way around the way it is being held by the Dreadnought?
I thought that was the top of the hammer.

Now THAT'S a Dread. Great work. Not a fan of other race's models on a base, though. Why is he stomping an Ork if you're playing Tau, for example.

On the other hand, I really admire the fact that he's stomping anything at all. It's kind of my forte, too.
Stomping puny human cities and what-not... So, yeah, I have a great appreciation for things stomping other things.

Maybe the dreadnought likes to carry an ork around purely for heroic posing

Lovely conversion work my friend, I like the cowling over the CSM's head...what is it from, and is the torso also from the CSM sprue? Just one small point, the arms are the wrong way round. CCW or Hurricanes for the right arm, Seismic Hammer or Chainfisty doodaa for the left...if you wanna be game legal that is.

Still a great job though.

Uh it is actually legal right now.

It doesnt say in the codex it has to be the left or right arms.
