K guys , im bad at explaining things , so patience please :x

The current website merged other countries's price and can convert the price easily.

However if im not mistaken , the 3 countries atleast, Canada, USA, and England all have different pricings ( and no i dont mean currency conversion )

so for those that knows what i meant ( despite my poor attempt of explaining ) Can we come up with a list of items that shows the badly over priced ones?

Yes.

1. Go to the Australian site.
2. Write down all the prices.
3. Go to the UK site.
4. Write down all their prices.
5. Convert the Aussie prices into £UK.
6. Note the stark difference.

We're probably the most overpriced... although Canada may be close (if not more).

But why should we worry when we have cheaper alternatives?

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

@ HBMC: Hopefully GW will get the OZ store in line. Things have improved significantly for us Canadians. While it sucked for a while when our dollar was at par, now that our dollar has slid against the US dollar, things are not as bad as they used to be.

@ Luna: GW Canada is not too bad right now vs. the US prices for the following items:

Battalion / Battleforce boxes @ CDN $105
Regiment boxes @ CDN $40
Blisters @ $CDN $12

The bad ones are a few of the tank kits and most of the metal squad boxes. Those are typically 10% more expensive than in the US. Not great, but a far cry from the 30-50% more expensive that they used to be. I don't understand GW's pricing bands. You'd think that the predator, vindicator and whirlwind would be in the same band, but they are not. You can presently buy Forgeworld whirlwinds for less money than GW Canada sells them for.

Unless you can get an incredible local hook-up, you're probably best off ordering from a UK discounter and having them ship to you.

You'd think that GW's mass distribution could do better, but that's just not the case for the US, Canada, or OZ.

Back on topic, don't forget the effect of local sales taxes.

In the UK, VAT is currently charged at 15% and included in all retail prices. If you order a large enough amount for shipping outside the EU, you can claim the VAT back or have it take off by the seller.

Canadian customs will probably charge an import duty.

Cost of shipping should also be taken into account. The cheapest is by sea mail of you don't mind waiting up to two months for your stuff to arrive.

A lot of it are things outside GW's control like currency movements.

2 years back the UK pound was strong, something like $2 to the pound so Brits would buy from the US.

Now it's flipped to $1.50 to the pound so buying from the UK is optimal.

Further back I remember when all the cool kids would order from Canada.

So look for the wheel to turn again.

Y'know there might be a market for a website the calculates GW's product line in different currencies every day...
