Well some of you may have seen my previous Warlord project - Castian Magus - and the results were not brilliant.

But having had time to recover, I've decided to try again.

This time the Titan Will be better planed, better detailed, bulkier and Shorter!

Yes shorter, having seen the new data sheet for a Emperor Class Titan I've decided to slightly scale down the warlord so that I can, maybe, possibly, in the future build a Warmonger titan without needing to use ing bricks!

So with the Prototype done and the plans drawn up, I'm ready to start the clock.

One month Till summer holidays, one month to build the darn thing!

The First foot



Splat... Land raider for scale, this foot will eventualy be raising from the ground having crunched some PBI

So it needs some treads



I need a symbol for the circles in the treads and was thinking about a tsarist imperial eagle.



I have somewhat a large tzarist cap badge that might look good on the shin armour, What do you guys think?

That's an enormous foot! And what's this about competition??? Those poor stompas are shoddy even by ork standards in comparison to the work you've already completed for this titan.

I think the badge will do absolutely perfect with some minor alteration. I'm thinking alter the coat of arms, horses aren't good iconography for the imperial guard. Would it look good with this on a black shield instead?

I agree on getting rid of the heraldic horse, but i'm not sure about having an eagle within an eagle. Maybe i could free hand something,

I seem to remember my families emblem to be an azure chevron on a blue field with 3 camilas blazened on the field, that might work?

I like it! It's one of the better titan legs I've seen; too many are too obviously made of plastic pipe. This is better.

I'd still add a few more details if I were you though. Throw on random bits of stuff, different shaped bits of plasticard and such, just because that improves things.

But I'm looking forward to seeing the completion of this!

Supply issues annoy me. Still got none of the 3mm foam board I need for the second leg so I've had to start the torso in 5mm foam board in desperation

In addition I agreed to an apocalypse game next weekend, so i need the thing roughly finished

Gotta agree with Gordino here - that's a fine looking titan leg! The torso looks like it's shaping up well, too. Got a height measurement for this beast?

The warlord is currently only 22" tall, but that's because I don't have the cooling towers on and the legs settle into hunched up mode.

Yeah I got the idea for a shorter titan after seeing your scale comparison thread, and the Warlord on BoLS

The Game went well, the titan had a huge impact, but not in the best of ways.

Pictures of that will have to wait for the moment, Instead you'll have to settle for a step by step of my volcano cannon.

...That looks utterly badass.

Brilliant effort and much the same as some of the other outstanding Warlords I have seen. We have a thread dedicated to the Warlord titan and would much appreciate your participation. Our ultimate goal is to build these titans mutually aiding each other with building techniques and would greatly appreciate your input.

I like that you are thinking about the heraldry from the get go. Its a big part of the appeal of titans for me - each one as a knight on a future battlefield.
